Unique Dish: Heavenly Thai Chicken Fried Rice with an Umami taste of a slight sweet happy ending…read morewith each bite. Every mouthful bursting with different flavour. Crunchy spring onion. Tender juicy chicken. Good colour balance. Divine fragrance from herbs. Juicy eggs. Pretty little Carrot florets. Cute Kawaii plate as underlay for rice. Lots of juicy chicken pieces but not overwhelming. Succulent vegetables. Quick 3 mins under shelter walk from Carnegie train station. Best Deal: Value for $ at $11.50. It's a steal! Food: Generous Portion size. Good amount of Meat. Service: Waitresses are well presented, smiling & polite. Came quickly to us when we raised our hands for service. Atmosphere: Love the clean wooden white decoration theme. Temperature is Climate Controlled. Toilet is clean. Crowd: Young professionals with mixture of hip youngsters. Place is packed full of people eating and queuing thus the food must be good. The food turnover rate is high thus the food must be fresh. I give it 5 / 5 stars. I will surely come back again to try different dishes especially the tom yum & drinks as they all look tasty. I highly recommend you to bring your family, colleagues and friends there this week for a pleasant gastronomic experience. :) Best regards, Jianfa Ben Tsai Fat Guy with 35 years of Restaurant Dining Experience Managed Food Business Worked at 5 Star Hotels

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now!! But seems to be consistently busy / packed…read moreevery time I'm in the area so best to book! Unless you want to eat after the dinner rush hour. Anyhoooo I had to fight hard not to let my imaginary second stomach take control when ordering. The place was packed! No walking space with people waiting to pay and waitresses busting their chops to satisfy hungry people! I wanted to order one of each from the menu after spying what others were eating around me. It's a small place .. Easy to do.. :) The test benchmark for me when it comes to Thai is the green curry.. This was amazingly good! Not sweat to the level of drinking sugar water and the bamboo shoots used were thinly sliced and did not overpower the curry. Smooth coconut along with the herbs... oh man!! hmm this little piggy did not leave a drop! The glass noodle salad at first reminded me of fish sauce in the sun too long... think mild fish sauce that's watered down and ur there. I did like it though.. don't take it apart to eat... The coconut ice cream ... I kid u not .. I think one of the waitresses stole a bite ... found it odd that there was a small wedge missing when it was served. Our teaspoons were clean at least. In testing it out the theory .. we ordered another.. the second one had no wedge!! haha Oh the coconut ice cream served with salted nuts and mild / reduced condensed milk in a small beacon was really good! We could have had a tub of it. Light and not too sweat.

ok im going to do a new review almost a year on from my last one. i went there a couple days ago…read moreand ended up just ordering different entrees (Prawn Spring rolls, soft shell crab and other stuff), just ended up getting full after many orders. it can get a bit pricey sometimes, but really nice food, service and ambiance.

I was a bit torn with this review, as I wanted very much to give it 4 stars but settled on 3…read more Here's why... There were only two other customers at peak lunch hour on a Sunday. A couple dining in that had already been served and a man waiting for his take away order. I was warmly greeted upon arrival but had to wait a few minutes before they brought me a menu, so I went to grab my own. They brought over the lunch menu soon thereafter. I was shocked at the prices. $16 for one dish and rice is extra? This was their lunch special? This included many popular items from pad thai, fried rice, curries, etc. Being quite hungry I ordered the Panang curry and Roti bread with peanut sauce. The server asked if I wanted the bread first and I said yes. However, it didn't come until the curry was ready. Finally my meal had arrived and it was really... delicious! I was so pleased at the spice level and flavour of the curry. The Roti was good too. I was however, surprised that the Panang curry was not exactly as described in the menu. I was looking forward to the eggplant which was replaced with green beans and peas, so they should update their menu or at least let you know when ordering. The meal was good but I just think they could work a little more on their serving times and lower their prices for lunch, considering their location. On the plus side, I had enough leftovers for dinner as well. My advice would be, it is not worth the trip here but if you do live nearby, I suggest you go with the takeaway, which another Yelper said was cheaper.

D'elephant is absolutely D'cent!…read more Menu wise, there's a plethora of Thai comfort food variety that you can find here, from small bites to heavier dishes such as rice plates, bowl of curries and grilled entrees. To be honest, thought some of their food are hits and some are misses. My personal favorite are their Red Duck Curry and Pad Khana (stir fried Chinese broccoli with roasted pork bellies) - Flavorful and aromatic, the beef Pad Satay, on the other hand was more in the mediocre category. We ended our meal with a cup of Thai ice tea and a scoop of mango ice cream, which were sweet and delightful. Bustling, down to earth ambiance, fast & friendly service, a nice meal option at the ever busy Chaddy mall.

Hmmm it's more for the farang ... sweet and nothing to rave about really!! We had soft shell crab,…read moreroast pork, coconut thingy soup and mince pork rice. The best was probably the soft shell crab. Tastes more Chinese than thai. The roast pork at $24 was ridiculous. I can do better following "Christine's Recipes"!! Got conned to get it. It is the same as if I had too much left over .. left in fridge taken out the next day and air fried again on high!! Only thing can't do was prob the thai sauce but think I can source them somewhere. the coconut soup was ..... well it does say what it is. So reeeeeally ask yourself do you want to drink cream coconut before ordering.. I did... but failed miserably to listen to my head and regretted it paying more than $10 for a can I know I can get for less than $5 and throwing some frozen 10cent piece prawns in and BAAAAAM give it a thai sounding name and there u have it!! The value add is naming the dish using thai! Gets the farangs like me all time! :))) Like everything YMMV give it a go yourself... I gave it 2 stars because it did fill our stomachs. WIR.. not anytime soon.. will go back to my fav thai in the local SE burbs
