It has that cosy country pub vibe but with a gorgeous outdoor seating area all kitted out in pale wood. Actually looks like an ideal place for a smaller wedding or an occasion. I didn't have any food here but they pride themselves with a home made menu with lots of traditional pub meals. I saw a few plates get brought out and they were huge! It's all set in a very tastefully restored half timber affair, with the grandfather clock out back still on time since who knows when. I had the fish stew based on a recommendation from James and Simon, a couple of regular patrons who can be found propping up the bar and in a few of South Cheshire's other CAMRA-approved establishments, and indeed, it was delicious.
