Sometimes you may have to wait due to everything being cooked fresh to order but it is well worth the wait. They have a bar area at the front and restaurant at the rear, which is where we sat for lunch. It was really busy for a weekday lunchtime, which we took as a great sign. The prices were great as well. My mum loved her scampi and gave it 5/5! I really enjoyed my salmon, the seasoned crust on the top was tasty, but it was a tiny bit over cooked/dry for me. It still tasted great, but I'd have taken it out the oven a bit sooner! I was just happy to have been a healthier option, which isn't always the case with local pubs. They have lots of pies on the menu, so I definitely would like to go back and try those.

The staff were friendly and VERY helpful. My mother in law recently moved to the village and had the pub had been recommended by neighbours.
