Challenges - find one that is not high volume, one that has high sanitary standards, one that uses water (Waterless nail procedures are not for me.), one that has expanded operating hours, etc. When I lived in San Antonio, I used to go to Woodhouse Spa monthly. Then we moved back to Austin and had to start my search all over again. Fortunately, they had a Woodhouse Spa near my house. Then it got bought out by a facial spa. There was one solo Woodhouse Spa I frequented in Cedar Park, TX until it closed its nail spa. Thus, I have been bouncing around but have not found one that meets all my nail needs. Therefore, I decided I will go to Woodhouse when I visit San Antonio 1-2 per month. Today I had a pedicure at Woodhouse after not having a pedicure for about a month. My big toenail split. Fortunately it was the thin top layer, but it scared me a bit. Woodhouse Spa's vibe is serene, peaceful and calm. The spa colors are warm - beige, brown, off white. They offer massages and facials also. When you arrive you check in at the front desk and then you are escorted to a waiting area where they bring you the beverage of your choice. Their dressing room has complimentary toiletries. My pedicure was done well. Look forward to returning...

But the facial was great, and the customer service was great (Danielle was wonderful). The spa has a long list of services and packages. I had a great facial with a few add ons. Then the day of the massage, one of the masseuse that was at the front desk, greeted me right away. Was very polite and was very friendly! Then my masseuse was Joy. She was AMAZING! This was by far thee BEST massage I have ever gotten. Joy went over my info before she begun, confirmed the areas I had put on the form that I wanted targeted the most. Joy checked on the pressure and made sure I was comfortable. I had a deep tissue massage with the therapeutic relief head, neck and face. It was SO RELAXING! Magnolia Medical & Aesthetics made me feel so comfortable, safe, and secure from the very first call! When I got in Natalie talked me through what we could do and we also discussed the random bump that decided to appear on my forehead a few years ago, which I decided when in Rome might as well fix it too! I wasn't prepared for the results! I have been so insecure about my nose. I do not even have a scar. It healed incredibly fast! I only missed filming a single podcast episode!!! Maybe 5 days of downtime (by downtime I mean time with a little bandaid on my face) and even then it was probably more like 3/4 days. My forehead looks great.
