I had considered going to urgent care, I should have went there would have been cheaper! First off parking is very difficult. When I entered the lady at the front told me she was just calling to confirm I was coming in. I explained I had been driving around for some time looking for parking. This was my first time at this place and while the nurse was pleasant she didn't even offer me her name or introduce herself or tell me anything about the business or services offered. This was my first time there. The place is very well maintained and clean. She sat me in a large room that had two seats. I filled out some paperwork and explained my situation. I had booked just a normal saline IV. She immediately suggested a full size IV bag since I was severely dehydrated . I said okay. She seemed a little disorganized, having to get up constantly to get something. No issues, she checked in on me every now and then. No issues. Half hour later, while I was snoozing in my seat. She had another client and placed them in the set beside me. I've done IV drips before and most places ask if you would like privacy or if you are okay with another person being in the room with you. She did not ask anything, just sat the next other person in seat next to me. I felt bad for the person as the nurse seemed to have difficulty finding a vein for treatment and the lady was wincing and crying in pain. Needless to say I couldn't be very relaxed with all the commotion going on next to me. The nurse asked me how I was feeling. I told her ok, she said she would give me something to help with my headache toward the end of my bag. Once I was almost done, she walked over and insert about three shots of various things into my IV bags. She said this is going to help your headache, this is going to help ur stomach, and murmured a few other things. I was wasn't sure if this was routine but I was too tired and weak to ask. I was trusting she was doing the right thing. When I went up front to pay what I thought was about $170 (saline IV) charge turned into $355 charge!!!! Like WTF!!! So she added on all this extra stuff for a "stomach flu" that I never asked for. Feeling the way I did, I didn't have the energy to fight with her about the bill. I just paid it and will NEVER return! If you are changing services on a client the proper thing would be to speak with them and explained the benefits and changes in charges prior to administering treatment. Not just take it upon yourself to do what you want! And that is why I WOULDN'T recommend this place.

I recently changed PCP because I didn't feel as though my past practitioner's office staff did a good job with getting test results etc back to me in a timely fashion. After a frustrating search, I think I've landed my dream team. For me, it's super important that reception receives me well and that process is seamless because it sets the tone for the visit. My first visit was with the Rockville Center location. The staff was incredibly warm and check in was easeful. Wait time was less than 20 mins. The intake forms were very through even asking about my sleep patterns and mental health. I appreciate a good screening as long as they are actually going to use the information to serve me well. I was super impressed that before I even saw the Dr that they ran an EKG and outside of vitals was having conversations with me about bone density test and scheduling my first colonoscopy since I'm now middle-aged( gasp). Dr. Foster introduced herself and asked me what brought me in. It took a while for me to feel relaxed in her presence. We had conversations about everything that was concerning for me, I asked for what I needed and was satisfied with the quality of the experience but my 2nd visit was the game-changer. Less than two weeks later, I had to revisit as I got ill. For this visit I saw her in Valley Stream which is a much smaller location. Before we even addressed my labs and the results of my tests, she checked in with me. She actually paused to put the person ahead of the procedure and that really made me feel seen. We were able to connect as women, mothers and that reminded me of why representation in health care matters so much for me as a black, Caribbean woman. I walked away feeling really connected and confident that I was in good hands. Delivery of results and RX has been great and I look forward to a longstanding relationship with my Dr and the practice.

He said oh he doesn't want to see me anymore and they wouldn't answer that question. I don't know why, but he takes the office staff word every time of them the patient the office staff is more important than the patient. It seems so I have to find another doctor. It's like elder abuse in my case.

Back in Arizona, cold plunging meant piling into shared, public tubs and cycling through communal saunas where everyone is on display. At Boost, you get your own private rooms. They also have top-tier compression therapy chairs that double as actual massage chairs--brand new, pristine, and incredibly comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the manager got me set up smoothly on a credit-based system. Contrast therapy runs you two credits since it covers both hot and cold cycles, and the monthly membership gives me 12 credits to play with--perfect for hitting three solid therapies once a weekend. At over 50, I'm doing this to stay strong, mobile, and young for as long as possible. Whether you're already dialed into the science popularized by Wim Hof or just starting to look into the longevity and recovery benefits of cold water and infrared therapy, Boost Wellness is unmatched.
