Our group of four had a reservation for the 6:45 PM slot on November 29, 2025. Having driven from…read morethe Hershey, PA area, we arrived at the venue approximately 5:30 PM. We were very appreciative that the staff was able to accommodate our early arrival and facilitate an immediate start to our session, which was a significant bonus. We participated in the "Serial Killer" themed room. As this was the first escape room experience for everyone in our party, there was a natural element of apprehension following the initial briefing and room viewing. We found the experience to be unique, highly engaging, and thoroughly enjoyable. The service provided by the front desk gentleman (whose name we unfortunately missed) was exceptional. He was highly informative, provided clear instructions, and offered helpful recommendations for local dining options. The in-game elements were also excellent; clues were delivered effectively, the communication system was clear and easy to understand, and the props and puzzle design were exciting and well-executed. The single point of constructive feedback we offer relates to the background music level. We found the volume of the ambient music to be slightly excessive, which occasionally impeded verbal communication among our party members and, at times, made it challenging to clearly receive direction from the remote staff via the communication device. Despite this minor operational detail, we enthusiastically recommend this business and anticipate returning soon to try another themed room or the rage room.

Main Street in Annville, PA, right next to Hickory Club Golf and Precision, which makes it an easy stop. The menu is surprisingly big for a truck, with a lot of creative options. We tried the Tandy Cake in a cup and an ice cream flight, which comes with four smaller scoops, perfect if you want to try a few flavors! Out of the flavors we had Wookie Cookie, Lemon Blueberry Pie, Salted Caramel Crunch, and Peanut Butter on Peanut Butter, Lemon Blueberry Pie stood out the most. All flavors were amazing, but that one was my favorite! Overall, a solid spot for ice cream this spring and summer. Looking forward to going back, and it would be great to see them open a storefront in the future in Lebanon County!

Their non-dairy options are trash, not made in house, just Oatly tubs freezer burnt. Disappointing for a place that "makes" their own ice cream. Their dairy options are better, but depends on what you get. Options are: decent, freezer burnt, or bland. The bar is nice and the food from the kitchen is good. That's it's saving grace. Nice ciders, boozy shakes, and diner-style food. I hope they improve themselves more. . .

Ironically, for the size of this place, it had one of the smallest parking lots I've seen at any of the other Natural Lands preserves I've visited. A rain storm cut my visit short, but I did get close to an hour of the meadow trail. If you visit on a sunny day, be ready for extreme sun exposure because there is very little tree shade along the trails I walked. Also, the mowed meadow terrain is lumpy and uneven in spots, and I'd have appreciated my hiking boots over the sneakers I wore, for ankle support. Again, I can't speak for the full 1282 acres, but the ambiance closest to the parking lot and trailhead, is pretty but lacks the variety and depth of character that many other Natural Lands preserves possess. It's kind of just plain old field. I appreciate plain old field, but having been to other preserves, I prefer the ones with woods and clearings, stream crossings, hills and valleys, etc. But, if you want to paint a Wyeth scene, this is certainly your place! It is a popular occurrence at Natural Lands preserves for locals to visit with their dogs off leash (in discordance with preserve rules). This preserve was no exception. In fact, it is so casually disregarded, Natural Lands was recently looking to hire someone, specifically, to visit all of the preserves and enforce the leash rule. As a dog mom, I understand the desire to not have to fuss with leash tugging, and be able to watch their furry joy running "free," but these rules are in place for everyone's safety, including your own (and your dog's). ChesLen is great for hiking boot walks, dogs on leash, and birding or butterfly watching. It is not accessible for handicapped people, strollers, bikes, etc. Babies have to be carried (as in backpacks) if in attendance. While more rugged in a countrified way, the land itself is peaceful and serene, and fun to photograph or paint!
