The gym is dirty and poorly managed. The stairmill machines and their tv units are most often…read morebroken - and stay broken for weeks or months before being fixed. The staff usually seems surprised when it is pointed out that the machines are broken. Or they will say "we are waiting for a repairman" to fix the machines. Repairs shouldn't take weeks/months. Today I was told that none of the stairmill tvs (5 of 6 have been broken for months) will be fixed until sometime "before the end of the year when the equipment is upgraded".

Be wary of their fees. IXL charged me a $25 fee because my credit card expired. I know it says in…read morethe agreement that they reserve the right to charge the fee, but it's a poor customer experience to be charged $25 simply because I didn't realize my card expired. I'm sure most people do not memorize and track their credit card expiration dates. A heads up BEFORE the card expires might be a better way for the club to handle it, rather than charging the fee after the fact. It's a good way for the club to make some extra money though; think about how many members have a card on file to pay and how many expire each year. They make $25 on each one. The people at the club desk just tell you to call the support center, which is really just a third party which manages the payments; they have no authority to waive fees. I called and left messages for IXL management twice, received no response
