Another venue in one don't hear about! This place is a bit special, my neice used the venue for her wedding and I have to say, it is a renovated firehouse. Quiet and charming. The venue is excellent to rent for wedding, graduation party, anniversary and many more. The ambience setting is very much memorable. Food catering was delight. The bartender provided was good. Superb and authentic venue to host a party! The property used to be an old firehouse that was converted into a multi-use space plus art gallery. There is original art work all over the space done by local artists. The space inside almost feels like something you would see in a John Wick film with chandeliers and leather couches. Super large dining space that we used as a buffet table to place all of the food on for the guests and then opened the French doors to the outdoor space that was used for live music and additional bar. There is a kitchen to prepare food that was quite convenient to warm up food and make additional drinks! Dom was super helpful and attentive in planning and assisting while the party was going on! Very honored to be one of the lucky few to experience a preview of the Sunday Brunch. I love the idea of Brunch commingled with art and history. Red Door No 5 is an old fire station now turned into an event space and now will be open to the public for Sunday Brunch from 11-2 I believe. The ambience was cozy and comfortable which made me feel as if I was in the comfort of my own home entertaining my guest but instead I was the guest. It was a very small group conversing at the dinner table in a large room surrounded with art most made the owner Dominque. The food previewed was absolutely yum yum 99 delicious. The chief is known to have cooked for celebrities just Christy Alley and the Bucs. My favorite was the spicy Caribbean bread pudding...I can still taste it, was so good. The owner Dominque and his team were amazing hosts and like to them for sharing this experience with me. I'm looking forward to visiting for brunch again. read more

The owner, Dom, did a walk through where he told me, as well as the bride & groom that we (the caterer) would be able to use their fridge (it was full of personal groceries) and stage food for the buffet in the kitchen space. Mind you, we did not need to use any equipment or utensils. Simply loading in food & service equipment. Then, after speaking with him 2 days prior to the event (I called him in the morning, he told me 10 min callback but it was late afternoon before I heard from him) to follow up and ask about possibly keeping food warm in ovens. He said yes that would be fine. We discussed bringing our food truck there but by the end of the conversation I decided that likely wouldn't work & I would review info with my partner (The Chef & Owner). My partner showed up at the agreed upon time to load in food & equipment and was immediately greeted with Dominique yelling at him for having anything in the venue & said we were using his "kitchen" space without renting it. He even went so far as to tell my partner he was the help and that he would talk to me when I got there. When I arrived a few minutes later he tried to tell me we were taking advantage of him then attempted to extort $1500 from us for working an event we were hired for. When eventually I asked where we would have been able to hold food & equipment other than the (agreed upon) kitchen space, his response was "That's your problem". As we served the buffet we cleaned up & removed all if our equipment, and storage. We cleaned the little table surface area that we utilized for refreshing chaffing dishes. We served the wedding guests to the best of our ability, but his shenanigans cost us about 45 minutes of prep & setup. We did not even have time to take a picture before the guests were coming in to eat. I have never received such unprofessional and predatory behavior from a venue owner. read more

Outstanding venue to host a party!!! It's a great place with lots of indoor & outdoor space. We really like how it's so unique & well-decorated with art. Our celebration had almost 100 guests, we mostly utilized the interior and still had plenty of room. The owner and staff are very easy & flexible to work with. They allow you to bring your party supplies the night before (if no other events are occurring) so you're ready for setup well in advanced before your event. They can provide you with all the necessary food, drinks, entertainment, amenities & contacts for your party, you can provide it all, or do a mixture of both. Once again, they're flexible to make your event occur the way you wish. We really love that you can bring your own alcohol to be served. We celebrated with lots & lots of delicious libations. They don't charge an uncorking or per open bottle fee, so providing our own alcohol saved us thousands of dollars$$$. We ordered the large charcuterie board. It has so much variety and everything is top-notch. Lot of excellent feedback from our guests about the food and venue its self. Thank you Red Door No. 5 for a perfect party!!! read more

Was here for a birthday event and the event space is lovely! It is an old firehouse that is part lived-in by the very talented artist and owner (cannot recall his name right now and he was so great at remembering our names). The event space has both indoor and outdoor areas and little nooks that can be decorated or have photo booths (which we did) and a bar for your cocktail delights. Parking across the street at Metropolitan Ministries was easy and the location just off of downtown is perfect. I loved the event space as there are a few art pieces that adorn the place, but it is easy to make the space your own beautiful and wonderful creation for your event that you and your guest can enjoy. Prior to this party, I had not heard of this space, but I will most certainly return here to host an event in the future. read more

Had an appointment to tour the space 9/16 and Dominique never showed up/called/texted and deliberately wasted our time because we couldn't make it to his meeting he tried to set up in the middle of the week on Wednesday. I tried to cancel the original meeting, but he was adamant about wanting to meet the following Saturday . We never heard from him again. Extremely unprofessional. read more

Pictures don't do this place justice! Our production crew filmed at Red Door No.5 for an entire day. The space is gorgeous and offered a multitude of unique backdrops. It looks like an art gallery and the owner, Dominique, couldn't have been more kind and hospitable. Red Door 5 is hands down Tampa's Most Amazing Event Venue. We had 200 of our employees for our annual Company Holiday Party this month. Everything was perfect. The outdoor patio made a great spot for live music. The place is so well appointed, we didn't have to worry about renting furniture. The owner Dominique was amazing from our first meet, thru the day of the event. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. A friend referred me. We drove by before our appointment after looking at another venue. I'm shopping for a wedding venue. Neither venue were quite the look I was going for after more thought. I mean this is is my wedding day and I want it to be perfect. So rather than not show up. I let Dominque know... he had the nerve to call me unprofessional! Unprofessional to not waste someone's time because you want a specific look for the wedding? I was dumbfounded by that response from an owner in this industry. I went to an event here today. I must have passed by it at least 5 times before I realized I was at the right place. There was a military truck out front so that threw me off as well as something going on next door at the Metropolitan Ministries volunteer office. The first thing I noticed was all of the unique art around the studio. The building is a refurbished fire house with red doors. This is the perfect place for any upscale event, without kids, being held here. It's is such an amazing space. There's even a kitchen that's available for use. read more
