Brian came out and picked up my frozen rugs the very next day AND recommended a water remediation company that were able to start the remediation process the same day as the leak! My rugs were thawed, cleaned and dried out long before my house was ready for them to be brought back inside. The day we received them and rolled them out onto our floors they looked better than they did before the leak! When I needed 2 smaller orientals cleaned and repaired after one of my pets had a stomach problem, Brian met me at his warehouse to take them to clean and repair. They were quickly ready to be picked up and looked great with no stains, discoloration or bleeding of the dye from the cleaning and the repair to the edges looked just like new even though there was a portion that needed to be rewoven! Brian is easy to work with, personable and professional--I highly recommend this business if you need your rugs cleaned or repaired!

We wanted to carpet all the bedrooms in the house, we got several quotes that we were not real…read morehappy with, a family member recommend we go to Hometown Carpets. We were not bombarded as soon as we walked through the door, we were able to browse on our own till we were ready to speak with a sales person. When we told them what we wanted they took us into the area where they had the carpet in stock, we actually got to see the large rolls of carpet, it made for a nice change from the usually some carpet squares. We found the carpet we wanted and asked for a quote, the quote they gave us was 500-600 below the other quotes, and everything was included, there was no pushing to upgrade, no addition pricing for items that may or may not be necessary. With the carpet in stock we were able to schedule the work to be done right away. The guys who came to the house were very respectful of our home, and not only did they not waste anytime getting things done, they did it right the first time. So I would very much recommend them to others for their carpet needs. They did such a good job on ours that we have chosen them to do the tiling for our entire downstairs. I told the installers once the children move out I'm going to pull up the carpet and have my hardwood floors. Children moved out and getting ready to sell the house, the installers did NOT remove the padding upstairs in the bedrooms! I called and reported it and the fella I spoke with could care less. The padding that was not pulled up is from the 70's from the pictures I posted you can see some of the mess I have on my hands. I would not buy carpet, I wouldn't trust the installers and I will be reporting this to the better business bureau.

We had talked to village pre-covid time frame so we returned. We were sent several samples by their suppliers and our selection was non stock and had to be ordered. Was promptly scheduled for installation upon arriving at Village. The men showed up at 10am and was completed at 4:15pm. They moved the heavy furniture and repositioned it upon completion. Normally quite critical of buisnesses in the area when a customer should get what they pay for. These installers worked hard. Pulled the old carpet and pad, put down new pad and installed new carpet in 6 hours. Much praise and gratitude to these men. They do 90% of village installs. Rest assured, these guys have the skills, experience and work ethic to get your floors in new condition in no time. Wife LOVES the new carpet!!

I don't know if all Ollie's are doing this promo or not but when I went they had an ad in the book section Fill a shopping basket with as many as you can fit (with a certain color dot on the back of the book) For $2.99 For a bibliophile who loves a deal, lemme tell you I put my books in that basket like a well skilled game of Tetris. Anywho-standard Ollie's, good stuff. Well organized . Clean. And very polite employees.

Everything was fine, though everything was extremely messy and cluttered. We were followed by an employee after we looped around the store to look at everything. It was quite persistent and discomforting to be followed (not so discreetly) by an employee, we had looped back towards the floor panels and rugs of the store as we're renovating a room in our home and wanted to see prices. This employee was on our behinds (to put it nicely) so we moved out of the way assuming he had to get to the backroom where there was a staff area. He had stood beside us for 2-3 minutes just watching us and then pretending to go through the floor panels. I understand staff must have precaution for customers stealing or causing issues as I've worked in retail for some years, but to be persistently behind customers and invading their space while they're just trying to shop and look around without any cause? Unacceptable. We will not be shopping at this Ollie's again. I will also be averting my friends and family from shopping here as well.
