Mike went above and beyond without skipping a bit to explain each finding and its condition as well as his recommendations on how to fix/repair. He definitely takes pride in his work and is a true scholar of his field. He most definitely carried his military level of attention to detail into his home inspector role which offered an unparalleled level of service. I absolutely recommend Mr. Schreiber for all home inspection needs. If I ever go to sell or purchase another home I have no doubt I'd be disappointed if I wasn't able to have Mike with Inspect-it Home Inspections look it over. The price might seem steep compared to lesser inspection companies. But I promise you that it is very fair and reasonable for the effort and lengths he will go to ensure you know every detail of the home.

I had to call Moxie Pest Control today because my lawn has entered what I can only describe as a…read morebotanical identity crisis. Yep! I use them for my lawn care as well! It's March, and normally my yard is made of Bermuda grass. But the underlying weeds apparently took the weather change as a challenge. Little white flower tips everywhere. Not the conversation-starter kind of weed people move to Colorado for. This looks like the "summon the HOA" kind. According to Google, this stuff is called annual bluegrass. I didn't know that before today. What I did know was that my yard suddenly looked like it had been taken over by tiny green squatters. Personally, I could wait until the Bermuda does its thing and Moxie helps it along. My HOA, however, cannot. Members of our HOA drive through the neighborhood constantly. I mean constantly. Slowing down. Stopping in front of houses. Evaluating curb appeal while channeling the living spirit of my mother into every inspection. So I called Moxie and Andrew B. answered. First thing I enjoyed was that he talked to me like a normal human being. No scripts. No corporate gymnastics. Just, "Hey man, what's going on?" I explained the situation and told him the truth: "I personally could not care less about these weeds... but my HOA definitely does. I'm pretty sure they have Homeland Security on speed dial... and I don't need that kind of attention." Andrew immediately knew what I was talking about. I learned that a bunch of yards are seeing the same thing right now, and Moxie is already adjusting their treatment strategy from their usual pre-emergent approach to a post-emergent spray that goes after these weeds directly. In other words, there's actually a plan. He didn't make it complicated. Didn't transfer me to five departments. He just understood the problem and put me on the schedule to get it handled. They are on a quarterly schedule to come out, but any time I ask for help, they come over ASAP. That is valuable to me! Between the regular treatments and the fact that they show up quickly when I call, the service has always felt like money well spent. What made the call great though was that it didn't feel like a customer service call. It felt like two normal humans talking through a problem. At one point we even drifted into talking about business, social media, and comedy. Turns out Andrew remembered a review I wrote for Moxie a while back. He told me they actually read it at their company Christmas party, which might be the most unexpected career milestone I've had as a comedian. So now my goals are simple: 1. Kill the weeds 2. Avoid an HOA letter 3. Possibly headline the Moxie Christmas party Andrew was friendly, helpful, and took action immediately. If the lawn turns green again and the HOA stops circling my house conducting turf inspections, I'll consider this a successful peacekeeping mission.

My daughter has 1 in her room almost every night and morning. Also they go under the sofa and hide. That is where one of the baits are located and you would think they would be dead by now. I felt like a value of $99 to start off was great and $49 a month but I should have did a little bit more research on my own of rat poisoning. It's not worth it.
