A few weeks ago we I was in LA visiting some family and they suggested that my boyfriend, whose never been to A go for a tour...So we found Red Carpet Tours online and they didnt disappoint a bit with such a personalized tour that my boyfriend just loved---almost as much as me :) Kodak Theather, Hollywood Sign, Walk of Fame, Sunset Blvd, and the our driver was really informed! During the beginning of the tour he asked us about what type of music we like....my bf mentions the Red Hot Chili Peppers and soon we drove past the schol they started at---then a few minutes later we were outside this small studio where he said the band was recording---as soon as we went by FLEA of the RHCP came out the down and walked right to his car!! My family and I were visiting LA for spring break and wanted to take a "Hollywood Tour." We had already toured the Hollywood Walk of fame and the Chinese theatre... and now 2 teenagers, a mom, aunt and grandmother had very different ideas of things they would like to see! I called Red Caret Tours and Mike listened to our desires and gave us a GREAT individualized private 3 hour tour! Incorporating some of the Celebrity homes (for mom and teens), some of the famous Murder & Crime Scenes (for me, the Aunt), Some of the famous burial plots of oldies but goodies (for grandma & all), Famous filming sites such as Greystone Mansion, and of course the Playboy and Spelling Mansion. My co-workers and myself had the best time with RED CARPET TOURS, I think jenn posted a review also! ...Our driver was hilarious and at ease with five fun gals from Texas...We stopped by a few places from THe HILLS, 90210, Melrose Place, and my all time favorite star on the walk of fame was Tim McGraw!!! Plus we saw tons of places to shop, which is what most of us did the next day....And the driver picked us up from downtown and dropped us off back at our hotel, like a taxi! Besides our own tour the car had TV with great videos about LAs history and some fun videos of Celebrity Homes and much more...the bottle of water was cool and refreshing but the driver allowed us to bring food inside the car! We decided to book private Los Angeles tour for six of us. This company has good reviews and I am glad we went. Our tour guide Michael was very professional, nice person,the arrived early and took us on the four hou tour. The tour was packed with best LA sightseeing places including Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Hills, Beverly Hills star homes, and the peir in Santa Monica. Greatly appreciated for the great tour and it was a great experience, taking a couple of hours to take a private tour through LA. A Great Day Out!! We were recommended to Red Carpet Tours by the Concierge at Loews Santa Monica. We were really pleased with the tour that Michael gave us. He is knowledgable, personable and committed to his clients. We saw all we wanted to and he also showed flexibility by helping me find the grave of a relative in the Hollywood Forever cemetery, which was an added bonus for us. We find it hard to imagine a better private tour, which was in a very comfortable luxury vehicle. He also passed on a recommendation for a musician for us to seek out, which has also increased my blues repertoire. I went on a business trip to LA about 2 months ago,and when i was sitting in my hotel room i felt like learning a bit more about the city.I came across red carpet tours and gave them a call.The person who came and picked me up was very professional and offered me a bottle of water right as i got in.He said just relax and enjoy the sights of LA. This was my families first time to Los Angeles and my dad booked a private tour with Red Carpet Tours...and it was AMAZING!!! We rolled around in a very cool Denali and it had TVs with cool videos about LAs history in it as we toured LA!! Took a photo infront of the hollywood sign, at the walk of fame, and chinese theater. We went to the homes Miley Cyrus, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jennifer Anistons ...plus we went by this awesome place called Greystone...Highly recommend Red Carpet Tours..plus I was able to use the WiFi in the car for my phone!! Red Carpet Tours are exciting, enjoyable, informative and safe. I've referred several of my visiting family members who all said they had a great experience. Michael has a great personality and is extremely knowledgeable about LA ; he's also friendly, engaging, and knows how to please. You will not leave the Red Carpet wanting anything more, other than one of their other tours next time youre in town. Its even a great experience for LA natives who would not be caught dead in a convertible van or bus, but who would love to learn a little more about the city they call home. I have an infant and wanted to do something fun but not too taxing on the family on my trip to L.A. Loved the variety of tours offered, settled on the Music one... not only was it fascinating, but they provided a carseat (in great shape too- didnt look ravaged by previous kids!) and my guide was really sensitive to my concerns as a fairly new mother! I felt safe driving with him, and best of all, just really felt like the whole family was welcome. I think this is a great way to spend the day if you have kids. read more

Wow...Luckily we had some time during our business trip to get out of the Mondrian Hotel and LA Convention center and onto a private tour of LA...Red Carpet tours actually picked us up from the Convention Center drove us up through Hollywood and than back to our hotel on the Sunset Strip while still going by some amazing celebrity homes! Wow!!!! We had an amazing time. I was not expecting to ride in such a cool SUV...it's a huge Navigator I think, point is I felt like a star riding around in this cool ride. Jonathan new everything about LA. We got great pics of the Hollywood sign and the Beach. But the best part was lunch in Beverly Hills where Ashton Kutcher was eating at the same time.
