The park itself is very beautiful - there are no words. The lack of organization and rudeness from the staff is what really pissed me off. At the entrance, a rude park employee wanted to charge us (3 people) almost $400.00 instead of $35.00, mistaking us for foreigners. I am a US citizen and so is my entire family. I had to show her a California driver's license to get into the park and avoid creating a line. The visitor center is also crowded - a mess and there are no park maps in English - but there are plenty of maps in 10 languages. The buses (shuttles) are old ruins and dirty inside and out. The stops have no information. In general, I do not recommend wasting your time. Especially after Zion.

This cute lil store has everything - crystals, earrings, bracelets, rings, figurines, sculptures, glassware, trinkets, donuts, fun-flavored lattes, goats, a resident kitty named Callie who will make you fall in love with her... The women running the shop were so kind. They fueled us up with coffee (delicious iced lattes - who knew?!) & answered all of our questions about gems, jewelry, ring sizes, Callie the cat, etc. & were so gracious. The prices were so reasonable, too. I purchased two gorgeous sterling silver rings with malachite stones in them for a whopping total of $50.
