The location is fantastic to near by shopping. The property managers are very courteous cooperative and helpful. The Bad: There doesn't seem to be any routine professional cleaning services for the common areas and needs improvement. The common area kitchen for residents to entertain guests is well equipped with refrigerator , dishwasher , microwave, range top , and oven , however with limitations of equipment use. The development only permits the residents to use the refrigerator and has de energized all other appliances. Seems to be a staging prop for leasing. The concern has been expressed to management with hopes there is a change in policy. Routine common area cleaning needs improvement. The heating , air conditioning and air supply system are sophisticated but appear to be undergoing fine tuning by the builder as this is a new build. Explanation of how to use the systems need further explanation to residents . The building is equipped with a sophisticated entry system but instructions for its optimum use is not provided. We have been at Meadow Vista for 5 months and are generally very happy to be here. However , we are hopeful we management will address residents concerns and make adjustments in operations.

Your going to be a little late with rent? No help at all, you might as well move. Unless they get a competent person to run this complex, I would steer clear.

Red Bluff Meadows Apartments - These are just a few of the adult cockroaches I have killed in the last few days.

During the same time there were leaks in the sprinklers so badly that we literally had a swamp instead of grass and algae covered sidewalks!! For the past 10 months I have lived with cockroaches!!!!! For the first seven months nothing was done by the company that owns this place. ( I, personally, have spent a Lot of money on pesticides, home remedies, Etc) They have now had an exterminator out 3x in the last 3 months and I'm still called killing anywhere from 2 to 6 or 8 cockroaches everyday!!!! Believe me, if I could afford to move I would have. As it is I pay rent to live with disease-carrying insects & my friends and family don't want to come to my apartment because they don't want us deal with the roaches or take a chance of transporting any back to their home-- not to mention the fact that roaches cause respiratory problems Etc

During the same time we had several leaks from the sprinklers causing almost swamp like conditions, not to mention slippery sidewalks, algae, etc. The girl downstairs moved in about 3 months ago and says gets eaten alive by spiders in her bed. I personally have been dealing with cockroaches for approximately three or four months and I was told it would probably be November before they could find an exterminator!!!! I've killed anywhere from one adult to three adults nine babies a day!!! So, if you're looking for a clean, well maintained, pleasant place to live THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT IT (any longer).

Tehama Property Management - Floor in kitchen is slanted. You can tell from windows in pic.

I did not provide my name to Vicki or the office assistants and I told them why I didn't want to provide my name. Vicki went on to immediately text the applicant and let her know my full name(I'm assuming from caller ID since I didn't provide that information to her) and my reason for calling, completely disregarding my concerns for my safety. That message only made the applicant(now tenant) act in the way that I knew it would, but since Vicki is getting money in her pocket, she doesn't care about other safety. The lack of privacy is unprofessional and concerning.

Everything went smoothly at first. We were excited to move in. Until rent was raised when we weren't even living there for a year. We were late probably 3 months (but fees paid in full). Husband and I weren't making much. But for $850 it seemed like a bargain. They promise a yearly inspection of the whole house but only came to service the old ass swamp cooler that has been there for years. Upon moving in, property owner promised a work order to fix the fence in the back but never happened. When we asked for the heater to be serviced, they responded with, "just get a room heater." (Which made our PGE bill higher) As far as I know, it's the property owner & management to provide comfortable living. But we didn't complain because rent was cheaper at he time. Once rent was raised, there were no improvements. $900 plus utilities, own lawn maintenance, old fixtures, no heater, no air conditioning, no proper maintenance was not worth paying rent in the end (There's more but too many to list). The bathroom smelt molded but they make you sign a waiver for it to make sure they're not liable. No promise of even updating anything in a house that seemed like it hasn't been touched since the late 70's early 80's.
