Ms. Ann is so friendly and attentive to any needs in the front of the shop. The guys in the back are great too. Mitch is one of the better metric mechanics that I've met, Jason knows HD's inside and out, while Jack has forgotten more about bikes than you or I will ever be able to cram into our pea brains. Def would recommend anyone in North Florida to stop by KD's for any of their motorcycle needs. Keep the shiny side up!

This Review is way overdue, In August 2016 my dad and I were heading towards Sturgis South Dakota…read morefrom Fort Lauderdale Florida and we ended our Trip in San DIego California. I notice in a gas station that I had a leak from my Texas Chopper. We decided to stay in this town of Starke. I was recommended from the hotel to go to Knuckle and Draggers. I met the owner and his lovely wife. Also their staff and even friends. He immediately fit me in his schedule he spend a long time with another assistant trying to find the leak. He assessed and diagnosed the problem. He told me that it would be safe to continue our trip with some specific directions. He did not charge me as a true biker looking out for each other. He knew that our trip was important for me and my dad he was a very generous man. I will never forget him. I will visit soon now that I relocated to NC. Shops and people like them are very rare finding. The town of starke is very lucky to have them. This not only reflect on good people, customer service but the sense of a great community. They have a motorcycle festival in this town I hope that everyone that reads this review give him some great business. He is an excellent mechanic very knowlegable I had my repair done and was exactly what he diagnosed. The mechanic was amazed that he gave me great adivice like that. He stated that is hard to find honest mechanics like him. Yes 5 star rating on my book. The amount of miles completed on my ride was 4100 miles with no other problems. He is the true to the biker brotherhood.

This is a good and honest place. Roger and George really know what they're doing. If you need to…read moreorder a part, ask Roger to do it for you. He might even have it in stock. His prices make it clear what an absolute rip-off some other places in Gainesville are. Call him up if you need a tune-up or anything, and he'll tell you when he can fit you in. If it's a reasonably small job, he can do it while you stand there and wait. Roger also handles scooter repairs. He doesn't turn up his nose at them (unless your scooter is trash, I guess). The shop is tiny and it doesn't look like much, but the quality of the work will make you feel good. George is without a doubt one of the best bike mechanics in this part of the state. If you're driving north on Sixth Street, keep your eye on the right-hand side of the street after you cross 39th Avenue, or you'll miss the shop. It's set back in an old shopping strip that looks almost abandoned.

What kind of Business is this? A) Motorcycle Repair Shop…read moreB) Graveyard for your working Bike C) Rip off Central D) Worst Place Ever E) Excuses Galore Boutique If you answered A - DONG! You are the Wiener The Correct answer is B-E This place is the worst and his lies are worsor - (Not Correct, I know). I took my bike to him with a problem and he stated the "Other Shop" overcharged me and he could fix the problem for $125.00 or he would not charge me anything. Well he worked on carb jets and charged me $225.00. The Jets had absolutely NOTHING to do with problem and I NEVER authorized him to perform any work on my bike and even further, what happened to the "I wont charge you if I can't get it running for $125.00 or less" My bike has now been in his shop for over 5 months and each time I call he has a new excuse. "I've been busy, I can't get good help, I'm going to take out the motor and check for the problem, I'll call you back soon" All these excuses and my bike has yet to be fixed. I called today and was told "I took the motor out and going to look at it" I told him I want to pick it up and take it elsewhere and he stated "I'm going to look at it and let you know" I suspect it'll be 5 more months if I don't actively engage this guy to get my bike back and on the road before summer is gone. I am thinking of small claims court on his unauthorized work on my bike.
