Long review but want to be accurate with events as they occurred. Work done: Headliner recovering, leather seat bolster reconditioning (dye), sun visor recovering. Car: 96 Camaro SS in good condition. First and foremost I believe this shop is capable of performing good work. Unfortunately, I didn't have a positive outcome. I pulled this car from storage to have the listed work performed about 1 year ago for a trip to Emerald Coast Cruzin in PCB, Fl. Shop had the car for a few days and work was completed. I immediately noticed lumps and what appeared to be a hand print in the headliner. Called the shop and scheduled appointment to address the problem. Decided to remove t-tops for a closer headliner inspection and found areas not covered by fabric. Showed defects to Brandon when car was dropped off and he said he would correct the problems. I picked the car up a day or so later expecting all the issues to be corrected, they were.. sort of. The "fix" for fabric not covering under the t-top was to glue additional fabric in areas not covered during the initial recovering. To be frank, it looks bad. Since I rarely remove the tops I gave him a pass but was disappointed. Was told they "steamed" the headliner but the hand print was still visible. Brandon said the hand print would go away with time, it hasn't and it's been nearly a year. I left the shop and returned the car to river mill storage until the trip to ECC in March. Fast forward to March and while detailing the car I find a melted (not a burn) spot of carpet in the rear hatch deck area of the car. It's pretty obvious something hot was placed on the carpeted area and melted the carpet. At this point I had no confidence in Red Beard and didn't bother to contact them. I've waited a year to give this review primarily due to the headliner handprint issue, which didn't resolve itself. Again, I believe the shop is capable of good work but they will never touch another vehicle I own. I'm very,very disappointed with the outcome. I gave them the opportunity to correct the problem and in the end another was created. If I'm to be honest, the seat bolster repair was marginal at best. The only repair I'd rate good is the sun visor otherwise I'd given a one star rating. This was a miserable failure and Red Beard needs to step their game up!!! read more
