There is a high turn over rate which makes it very hard for me and my kids to get to know and trust their teacher. There are a few good teachers here but as a whole it is hard to get to know them and form a partnership with them. These are only some of the issues that have been seen/experienced, there are many more. Overall, I would not recommend this center - it may be convienant, but the trip into La Crosse would be well worth it to find a better center for your child(ren).

All the young staff I feel are well-trained and very friendly. But today, 6/9 AM, a new gal was a life guard she sat on the bench waiting with her friend to get a lane for laps A young man was on the guard chair. She sat for a while with her friend on the bench and was on her phone, looking down and not at the pool at all. She climbed up the second guard chair when exercise class started and ate a cookie it did not look good! I hate to complain but when anyone is in pool and they are on deck full attention should be on pool. TY

The grungy aspects of this school include (and are not limited to); some of the aggressive ghetto kids that try to pick fights with one another every other day, these same ghetto kids asking for cigarettes every break period, and the security cameras that, surprisingly, make you feel less secure. Wow, I'm the first to review my old school. As much as I want to be hard on it (at least some of…read moreit), I can't. Between the school board, and the general oversight of the community, the school managed to have incredible teachers. I really don't know how they do so well, but nearly my entire first two years of college were complete repeats of high school content. My classmates were struggling and I was shocked that they were still at such a rudimentary level. Even now I look back at things I learned from Mr. Myers, or Foley, or Prussing, or Duellman, or Brady Olsen, and many of these things I learned that I take for granted are things my peers never grasped, or even have ever heard of. I'm not sure how GET did it, but I continue to be amazed at the overall quality of an education I received.
