Came here for breakfast from the farm on their annual Spring Day and it was so fun! Fresh breakfast cooked on the farm, fresh squeezed OJ, yummy flapjacks, free-range eggs and good quality meat from their local group of farmers. There was live music from a lovely bluegrass band ( a beautiful family), delicious food, picnic tables set up with awesome arrangements, a wonderful pig named Victoria who lives on the farm, lots of fresh veggies and meats to buy, a cheese tasting, and face painting. It's very family-friendly and everyone is really nice. read more

These gals know their stuff! Fantastic quality and seasonal selection, super friendly, and fun farm to wander around with your kids and see where the food is coming from. Its great to not only know your farmers and keep it local, but know you're supporting such a nice family. Only problem has been communication online or via email and them not getting back to you, otherwise if you can talk to them in person all the time you're good. read more

Met Symbria and her daughter at the Cedar City farmer's market and decided to try out their CSA for the month we're in CC. The Patterson's are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. LOVE it! I took a jaunt out to the farm today with the bf and picked up a small CSA share. We got carrots, beets, collards, onions, a big edible pumpkin, mint and baba ganouj! Wow! The CSA is buffet-style (where you pick the quantity from the bushels yourself as opposed to being handed a bag pre-prepared for you) and the variety changes seasonally. The whole atmosphere as welcoming, friendly and inclusive. The farm is A-dorable! Now my bf and I have a bunch of farm fresh veggies to eat for a week. I HIGHLY recommend Red Acre!! read more

Ordered half a lamb via their website and paid deposit. Arrive (after a 3 hour drive) on the day of pickup, to find the farm closed up. Eventually got ahold of someone who said the date of pickup for lamb had changed, they would notify me of new date. Haven't heard back from them since, despite leaving numerous phone messages and sending emails. Currently out my $123 deposit. Making (and admitting to) mistakes are okay, but cheating people out of money and not responding isn't. read more
