Clare Love at Jivaro is not your usual consultant. Did things that I have never had the experience of a recruitment consultant do for me. Having stayed in touch over the course of 8 months, finally let her know I was looking for work and she organised a first meeting to actually know what I was looking for, even before I applied for a job. That was the first wow moment, this person is actually doing their job. She gave me a couple of opportiunities that she had, then set me up for an interview, gave me loads of tips and help. Then followed up afterwards with a phone call. Everythnig went well, but I wanted more money so we moved on. Normally that's it, I've never had a return call from a recruitment company. Never. But as I said before, Clare is not your usual recruitment consultant, so wow moment number two she gave me a call a couple of weeks later as she had a position and she thought it was a good fit for me. So same thing again, had three interviews, Clare gave me heaps of info, not just about the company and job but also tips for the interview. I called her after the first and third interview to give her my feedback (which she requested), the second interview I was lazy and did not call her, however a couple of hours after she actually called me to ask how it went. There is your wow moment number three. Clare was a great person to deal with, she knew what she was doing and actually made me feel valued and that she was really trying to help me, not like other recruitment companies that just want your details to boost their client numbers. And the fact I stayed on her radar even after the first position I went for, its amazing. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

Just another failing govt. corporate contracted 'job provider' in which staff do close to nothing…read moresubstantial for job seekers esp. the unemployed to find and get work. They only send off young people who quite literally pro stitute themselves for slave wages. You are required to do onsite job search at their unhygienic computer facilities, in which I was literally forced to become both job seeker and voluntary cleaner of keyboards breeding of dust, food and oil residue. Majority 'job consultants' and their managers will sit around and pretend to look evolved and productive, when reality is they all behave like a bunch of neanderthals pretending to be busy and tech-savvy. Reality shows that their knowledge and skills in getting job leads other than through traditional approaches is severely inadequate. Bankstown staff here will refuse to read your e-mails with attachments of job submissions made online. They are also extremely incompetent and untrained in all aspects of technology in this digital age. They are still using outdated methods and approaches to re-writing cover letters and resumes. I believe this is done intentionally so that those who have been stuck unemployed due to neglect by govt. contracted services, can be provoked and become defensive. As a result, your character will then be attacked for speaking up and defending yourself from their complete disregard and extreme ignorance for your right to say no. Staff will ignore your circumstances and force you to carry out menial job activities like onsite job search, where majority of the time computers are out of order or occupied. You will be coerced to take part in seeing them butcher and hack your resume to death while they try to persuade you to agree to their irrelevant advice regarding formats and colors that does nothing to add any value whatsoever, or to improve my job chances, esp. when the main areas they should give attention to is lack of business references and long-term unemployment. The staff here are a 250% mentally deranged because of their inability to not only upgrade and invest their knowledge in technology, but they might actually be willfully ignorant and backward in their approach to helping job seekers with intentions to manufacture and trigger low-morale to inhibit motivation for job seekers to get out of unemployment. Many staff consist of people who also target job seekers through organized harassment campaigns and violate their privacy in their place of residence. This is done through military type technology where they can literally watch and observe your every movement through walls. So not only do they have you blacklisted, but they are also monitoring your movements and people are hired specifically to harass and stalk you. Other staff are usually bribed by 'job seekers' who either have personal ties with them, or said 'job seekers' who're receiving govt. benefits are just simply 'reclaiming' their tax by masquerading as genuine job seekers. There is no such thing as a community when your socioeconomic status renders you submissive to their toxic culture. If you want a community, then go global. There's no point in remaining a neo-fascist moron in a generation where planet earth is now one big giant family. At each appointment they have nothing new to contribute other than to ask the same exact questions about job status/job seeking efforts, bi-weekly for months, not taking into account the circumstances of why it is so difficult to land any kind of job that requires recent business references and experience. All job agencies are corrupt here in Australia, so do not ever expect them to help you get into sustainable employment; their existence depends on your unemployment status so they can send you to 1000$ courses that haven't been updated for years, just to get paid more in govt. incentives designed to keep you unemployed and in their system. More or less, the genuinely unemployed will be seen as just another statistic; there will be no hesitation to report you to centerlink for unjustifiable reasons like 'bad attitude' or 'inappropriate conduct' like defending your rights! even if you've met your job search requirements. They are always breaking laws; the complaints department will favor their side and nothing will be done to penalize or hold the staff accountable. Only a bunch of deadbeat solipsists are hired contracts that continue to treat the unemployed like criminals. This is the real reason why so many people are in prostitution, on slave wages and homeless drug addicts. The very people who benefit from this are the people who work as contractors legally allowed break laws and deteriorate conditions affecting individuals who are reliant on the system for food, shelter and survival. Our govt. and corporations are public enemy no. 1 otherwise there wouldn't be a campaign against poor people trying to survive a type of society still practicing pre-modern social Darwinism.
