After a few moments we ordered some wine and grabbed a seat at the bench across from the bar. There were lots of choices from wine to liquor to beer, but we thought we should get wine since it's technically a "wine bar". We ended up staying for a while and each had two glasses of wine (4€ each glass). This is pretty affordable and the pours were not light. Overall, it's a nice place to grab a drink but not too busy or loud on a weeknight. A good experience.

Stepping inside is an experience in itself because the restaurant is housed in a stunning historic building, and the interior is filled with amazing historic decorations that add so much charm. As someone looking for gluten-free options, I was thrilled to see they have a dedicated page on the menu just for gluten-free starters and sides. They even provided me with safe gluten-free bread accompanied by separate olive oil containers, which is always a great touch. We started by sharing the fries, which are made in a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and they came with an addictive spicy mayo sauce. To drink, I ordered a spritz topped with a delicious foam, and it honestly was the best spritz I have ever had. For my main course, I ordered the gluten-free pappadelle with zucchini cream, modified with no meat. It was very good, though the rich sauce became a little heavy after a while when you keep eating. We were too full to look at the dessert menu, but everything else made up for it. Our waitress was extremely nice, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu and allergens. Between the history, the great drinks, and the safe gluten-free options, this place is a must-visit!

The food was amazing and the service even better! The employees were very attentive and kindly recommended different dishes. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, which is always nice. I ordered a pistachio cornetto, a double shot capuccino and a focaccia sandwich. The cornetto was freshly baked, very soft and with the perfect amount of pistachio cream. The coffee was also amazing, perfectly pulled shots of espresso. The coffee itself wasn't too acidic which I always like. The focaccia from the sandwich was freshly baked that morning too and the combination between serrano ham and cheese was very tasty. They do heat up the sandwich, so if you're into hot breakfast this is a great spot for that! Overall, I would 100% revisit this spot if I'm ever on Venice again: excellent food and service!

It's a cozy little bar. Staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful - despite being very very busy at all times. It's popular with both locals and tourists. And for good reason. They've got a huge range of fantastic cicchetti. And nice, affordable wine, prosecco and more. There are only four tables outside and limited space to stand inside. Most visitors just hang around in front of the Bar. We've managed to get a table each visit still. We've had some of our favorites again: Gorgonzola with anchovies, some with sardines, some with bacalau. Some with prosciutto or lardo. Smoked fish or salmon All great stuff. But also this time we've discovered some new ones: With crudo di mare (raw fish/seafood), shrimp and sour onions, mushroom cream topped with mushrooms, bacon and artichokes. They've also got other snacks like fried bacalau. Really: Every single item here was delicous. They are just the best at what they're doing. And that since a long time. It never disappoints and is well worth the money. Depending on the day and time they do not always have all and/or the same cicchetti. Even more reason to come back to get some more. And we will definitely be back.

The food here was very fresh, and I liked the flavors a lot so I'm glad that I went to try it out. Overall, if you're in Venice then this is a good spot to check out!
