From the owner: About Our Products:…read more We use only hardwoods in the construction of our displays and shadow boxes. Some styles of our displays have corners with a dovetail of a contrasting wood. This is for strength and beauty. All of our displays are finished with at least three coats of polyurethane to enhance the natural beauty of the wood. Each item can be stained, if you would like, see the stain colors page for the different colors available. Each tree is unique and the wood that comes from them is also unique. Wood from the core of a tree is much darker than that from the outer portion. As a result of this, each display has its own distinctive character.

To say I am disappointed is a gross understatement…read more Two months ago I placed an order for a shadowbox for my military retirement ceremony. I was told by an employee that if I had the order in by the first week of June, then I would get ahead of the summertime rush. All that needed to be done was to build the box and mount the items. I had already designed the layout prior. The ceremony is set for 1 September; however, I also (repeatedly) informed the employee that I would be gone all of August. There was also a finishing touch I needed to add to the shadowbox and on the recommendation of the same employee, I decided to wait until I had the box in hand before proceeding with the final addition. I was told it should take a total of approximately 4 to 6 weeks to complete. At the 3 week point I inquired as to how it was coming along and was informed there was no update and to check back in 2 weeks. Two weeks later, same response. The following week, same response. Each time I re-emphasized that I would not be available in August and need the box to take care of the remaining item. Ultimately, I picked up my items today and the box (apparently) hadn't even been started yet and my choices were to have an incomplete box or no box at all and with me being gone all of August, should there be a snag, I would be unable to attend to it. I ultimately chose to cancel the order. During this two month ordeal, I received no phone calls and no updates. I know that on at lease one occasion a short notice order came in and it took priority over my order. I will not presume to tell you how to run your business, but I will say that I wasted two months with nothing to show for it and now I don't have enough time to get a shadowbox made. I would have thought first in, first out would be the overriding business model but apparently it is not. As I asked the employee today, had I ordered the shadowbox 12 months ago, would they not start it until the 11th month?

I would wholeheartedly recommend the Trophy Case to anyone looking for quality plaques and trophies at great prices.
