I was in a massage room and opted for the 30 minute foot massage. She said she was going to massage my back, but I told her I was not interested in my back being massage. I told her my head face and arms and hands. The lady stated that she would do that. The massage is really good. She started on my face and moved to my head and then each arm and hand after that she moved to my foot massage which also included my calves. The difference from other reflexology places that I've been to was that there was no bucket of water that she put my feet into. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about that. It doesn't really matter one way or the other actually. It was a good massage. She did a great job.

My bf and I were there on vacation from Portland, and Steve took an incredible amount of time taking care of my aches and pains. I've had a long term inflammatory condition, so any massage is an incredible treat. His background in sports medicine really came through...almost as much as his incredible spirit did. I'll never forget returning to our room after the treatment and telling my bf, "Whooooa.. that man is God!!" haha. My body hadn't felt so relieved in such a long time. It meant the world to me. Not only did I find an amazing masseuse, it was almost like finding a new friend. We spoke of travels, herbal medicine, spreading kindness, etc. Having this kind of person work on you is so important. They are providing a gift not only on a physical level, but emotional as well. His energy was so fantastic that I continued to travel to Forest Grove regularly just to see Steve. After a few visits, I treated myself to a facial from Heidi. I am a licensed esthetician myself, so I can be a bit picky about skin care. What an incredibly awesome thing to find that this husband and wife duo are equally fantastic. Heidi is a wealth of knowledge about the line she uses (Image), and skin itself. She is obvously incredibly passionate about skin care, and wants to make sure that you have not only an amazing treatment, but a take away regimen that is going to be right for you. It's like going on a blissful journey of relaxation, and looking amazing all at once! She is so sweet, and makes you feel like you (and your skin) mean the world to her. Not only are Heidi and Steve amazing, caring people...they are incredibly talented at what that do. I've had the great benefit of watch them work hard to now own their own spa. It's gorgeous! It's tranquil, well decoratied and even right next to a Dutch Bros if you need a pick me up after! They've also got a beautiful website set up now that makes it super easy to schedule. If you follow their FB page they always have super deals going on too! Clearly- I adore these two and feel I really lucked out having stumbled across them. Let's just say Portland has a lot of options for skin care and body work...and making the special trip out to Forest Grove to see Steve and Heidi will always be well worth the trip! They deserve it!!

Lori is a really gifted massage therapist. She is great at concentrating on the areas that suffer most due to today's desk and computer jobs, and also helping us out with our aches and pains associated with playing soccer. Her massages aren't your day-spa surface rubs, she knows how to really get into your problem areas. Here are some great pros about Lori and her business: -Her Massage Pad is located in downtown Hillsboro, with easy free 2 hour parking on the street -The massage studio is relaxing and well decorated, with salt lamps, heaters, fountains, and a beautiful mural of the sky above you. Her choice of music and decor allows you to block out the "daily buzz" and release your tensions. -Super convenient online scheduling options, friendly email reminders for your appointment. -Can pay with a credit card ahead of time or in her office. -Lori takes the time to listen to you describe your aches and pains, asks about your week, and when you are with her you feel her full attention focused on you. -While massages aren't inexpensive to do often, Lori offers great value because of the high quality experience she offers, and we feel the health benefits. We have no problem spending money on this kind of thing that is really an investment in our own health.
