The owner Jason is a military vet and was super kind. He even gave me a military discount since I'm an Army Vet which was nice. The gym has everything you need from a small boxing area, trx/crossfit area and of course your traditional cardio machines and weight lifting equipment. It's really a great atmosphere to get an amazing working out in. I enjoy coming here because it doesn't get packed in the AM like other gyms and the best part is if you have any questions the staff is alway there to help you and point you in the right direct. If the owner Jason is there he will even come spot you which I've seen him do a numerous of times to different individuals working out. There's also lots of parking, so if your'e around the Hudson area of NH be sure to give AMC a visit if you're looking for a gym.

I've been going to AFC for nine months now and love it. My favorite thing about this gym is the…read moreatmosphere. Besides being clean and well-maintained, it really feels like a community gym. It's unpretentious. As someone who is curvy and wanted to go to the gym to improve my physique, I was initially very nervous about people staring at me or judging me for using the weights. I've gone to other, bigger gyms like PF and I always felt like everyone was looking down on me, and worse, I was fighting for equipment. Not at AFC. Everyone here is going to the gym to work on themselves, whatever that means for them. While of course you have many physically fit people here, there are also people of all ages, sizes, races, men, women, etc, each sharing a common purpose. I've never had a problem snagging equipment I needed or felt like I was in anyone's way. In fact, trainers and members alike have told me they've seen great improvement in me, which makes me feel so great. That's the benefit of a smaller gym - the people there remember you and root for you. I also love the boxing class. It's really popular here! I had never done boxing before and fell in love. It makes me feel powerful. Strong. And, best of all, disguises the workouts a bit! It's so much easier to work out when you're concentrating on pads and bags, and I end up burning 400-500 calories a session. Jason, and all the trainers, pay attention to your moves and help you improve your form. The classes are smaller too, usually around 10 people, so you can ask any questions you want and the trainers can pay attention to your form. If you're a nervous first-time gym goer like I was, or if you just moved here and are looking for a clean, community gym, this is the place.

This was the first gym I checked out after moving out of Boston years ago, and I must say, I was…read moregenuinely impressed. It's a large facility and really holds its own against some of the nicer gyms I've been to in the city. Over the years, I've really enjoyed seeing them continue to invest in the gym floor. They've added some new equipment, including the Power Squat Pro and Hip Press, which are fantastic for leg day. They also have tons of cardio machines and two turf areas, including a longer one that's great for sled work. The women's locker room is clean, with plenty of lockers and I think four restroom stalls. There's also a steam room. My one wish is that they had a sauna instead because that would make this place 10x better. If they did, I'd probably take my time here after my workout. They also have separate rooms for classes and a daycare center. The price is another reason I think this place is such a good value. It's around $30-$40 a month depending on your membership, plus a $50 annual facility maintenance fee. The weekday hours are convenient too, with the gym open from 5AM to 10PM. Weekend hours are shorter, from 6AM to 6PM. They have a massive shared parking lot which can get a little crowded since it's right next to the casino, so timing can make a difference. Overall Service: Signing up was seamless. There's no pressure or having to sit through a long conversation while someone tries to upsell you. Once you signup, you can use their app, scan your QR code when you walk in, and there's usually someone there to greet you. Your membership also gives you access to other local locations in Chelmsford, Lowell, and Drum Hill. The whole process is easy and straightforward, as it should be for a gym.

The gym has every piece of top quality equipment you could possibly need for strength training and everything is in great condition. The gym is well laid out and there are never more than 5-10 people in the gym at once (many times I'm there alone). And you can't beat the 24/7/365 time open. The owner Paul is extremely friendly and even works out at the gym himself. He provides personal training at the gym and is extremely well informed when it comes to fitness. Overall, there really isn't anything to complain about. It's a great place to exercise for all ages/genders.

For an anytime fitness, which is a very conventional-sounding brand, the owners bring a more modern twist to their classes and equipment that fits with the latest trends. I was happy to see they had 100lb dumbells which I needed at the time, as well as some sizable tires outside (heaviest one probably between 200-300lbs) which I haven't seen at Boston Sports Clubs in Waltham even (the largest BSC $100/month membership). This gym also has a heavy 80lb kettlebell which I don't see in the average gym. Since Anytime Fitness owners can add their own spin to their business, I feel like there is more potential here to cater to people's needs. Despite this location being small, it had everything I needed and even more, including two pairs of parallettes. Towels are included as well so the place looks quite clean all the time. Jamie and her husband made this place very comfortable. The magazines in the seating area are also up to date and interesting to read. Being a 24 hour gym is another perk; even though you're always on camera, you don't have to rush to the gym before it closes and then worry about the grocery store closing on the way home. Lastly, Jamie gave me a great deal for my short term membership in the last few weeks of the summer. Most gyms, like the Boston Sports Clubs, are corporate gyms and are very inflexible on memberships and they have unnecessary fees.

You'll spend way more time standing around watching people (men and women) sitting on the machine and flipping through their phones in between sets. I've never seen the staff pay the slightest attention to this. The stretching area has filled up with apparatus, so it's difficult to find a place to stretch. I'd love to give this 1 star, but the aerobic equipment is decent. I'm editing this review to remove two of the three starts I awarded PF based on the response. It is the staff's responsibility to make sure that things are running smoothly and that people aren't waiting for someone to finish looking at their phone to get on a machine. This is a management/culture issue.
