I took my nearly 3 year old grandson to get his hair cut…read more First thing first, this amazing man does not charge enough for what he does. My grandson was a little hesitant until he sat in the airplane and helped him. He is amazing with little wiggle worms like Grayson. Go take your littles to see him!!

Let me tell you about the incredibly rude experience I had with a business owner in Sweet Home!…read more I had never been to Sweet Home before and was there visiting my daughter and her boyfriend, who had just gotten their very first apartment together. As a mom, I was so excited to see their new place and celebrate this exciting milestone with them! Well, I accidentally missed my turn. No big deal, right? I noticed a fairly large business right off the main road with a spacious parking lot and plenty of room to safely turn around. Keep in mind, this was a business with a large parking area, NOT someone's private residence. As I pulled in to turn around, a man came charging out of the building, demanding that I roll down my window. He then very rudely told me to NEVER, EVER turn around there again! I politely explained that I wasn't from the area, had simply missed my turn, and was just trying to turn around safely. I couldn't believe how unnecessarily rude he was being! He proceeded to tell me that HE owned the building, as though that somehow justified speaking to a complete stranger that way. Now, I understand that business owners have the right to manage their property. However, when you own a business with a large parking lot right off a main road, you would think you'd expect someone to occasionally pull in to safely turn around. It takes just a few seconds, and there's absolutely no reason to treat someone so disrespectfully over something so minor! This was my very first visit to Sweet Home, and unfortunately, this interaction really left a sour taste in my mouth. Talk about a terrible way to represent your business and your community! As a business owner, you never know who might become a future customer or who might share their experience with others. A little kindness and common courtesy go a long way. You certainly don't earn someone's business by running outside and yelling at them for making a simple wrong turn. I personally wouldn't give my business to someone who treats people this way, and I hope others take experiences like this into consideration when deciding where to spend their money. Being a business owner isn't just about owning a building. It's also about how you treat people, including those who aren't your customers yet. A little kindness costs absolutely nothing!
