He heard me mention my son's dinosaurs for entertainment and immediately showed my son that he had a dino cape (with "barber-saurs" ). In December 2025 I went to So Fly hoping to get bangs to hide a recent scar on my forehead. She did…read moreexactly what I asked for, and it was great! I returned on March 25th for a bang trim, this time from Hannah, who also did a great job and who was very personable as well! On May 9th I went in for another bang trim, and this time I got Elena. She listened to what I wanted, and suggested a full haircut instead of a bang trim. I said yes. She gave me more layers, and I LOVE it! It requires no styling after washing, but has lots of volume and curl. It can easily be fluffed out again on a non-hairwash day. It's the best haircut I've had in a long time!

The sesond time was OK with #2 stylist. The third time, I had another stylist and it was not ok as my left was not equal_of course I did not know until I came home.. This forth time, somehow, my first stylist was there. I did not understand why it was my turn but she picked up someone else. She did say something about two of us were waiting for a haircut; we could wait for the other two stylists in the salon. When I saw the list that person did put a name on the stylist column. I understand that we miscomunicated somewhere there; however, waiting time is critical and so does the selected stylist. I should have known the name of the stylist I wanted; however, at this salon before, customers just point out who they were waiting for. I just had a bad day, I think.

Crystal asked how much she…read morewanted cut off and then made sure my daughter could see how much was going to be cut off to make sure that was correct. And it sounds like such a simple thing but my daughter has had experiences where she's say "I would like it cut just below my shoulders" and end up with something closer to a "bob." Crystal was also very pleasant and friendly to talk with. Never felt like she was trying to 'push' my daughter towards a specific style. Like "you should really do this, it will look amazing on you!" Rather Crystal did make a few small suggestions and then clarified that it wouldn't affect my daughter's ability to have her hair in a pony tail. My daughter went ahead with a few additional cuts and it definitely turned out even better. I asked my daughter if she would want to come back and she said "definitely!" :) We also scheduled out appointment online, which was easy and quick to do. We showed up a few minutes early and Crystal was just finishing up with another customer so we didn't have to wait around at all. There's a comfy couch to sit on, which i really liked b/c normally, I might either sit in a salon chair or in the waiting area (where I'm more out of touch w/ what's going on). But this way it was easy for me to be part of the conversation and my daughter knows I'm right there if she needs anything. Parking is easy as there is reserved parking for customers only. Credit cards are accepted and you can leave a tip using your card (or not) if you'd like. Certainly a place I'd recommend to anyone (guys can get cuts here to) and especially students as they all get discounts :)
