Takes 4 days to get the email of excuses/defenses. It comes in an "email" check junk email too. Copy paste my defense to the declaration. When did I answer? I waited months later until the last 2 weeks before ticket is due. Bail: Wrote a check for the full amount 486.00. In the Trial by Written Declaration, I added photo copies of the street, wrote more than one excuse/defense suggested by Ticket Assassin. Ended with, will continue to challenge ticket even if I lose and have to come to court in person. Post Office: $11.00 certified mail return receipt of the paperwork and I sent it. Ticket status is viewable online as well. Time frame: Court receives my answer, 30 days for officer to respond, 25 days for judge to rule. I also called the court clerk's number on the ticket to get updates. The clerk was nice every time and be nice to them, tell the clerk you are checking in as you don't want to miss any deadlines, and if there has been a ruling... etc... They tell you exactly when to expect an answer as well because they know the volume of cases that are being handled. Case dismissed came in the mail. My refund check arrive one week later April 2025! That is well outside of the range of reliability for LiDAR so I utilized some of the formats from ticket assassin to Shape my trial by written declaration, and it was dismissed! No points and no fine. I contacted Pat and he reviewed my documents and gave me some pointers and encouragement. He's great and I highly recommend his website. It's an excellent resource and he is a great person to have on your team because he knows the inns and outs of all these tickets.
