I have…read morehad 2 incidents where a large grown man who lives there has attacked me when I have been with my young children & no employee helped either time. Instead, they allowed the instigator to become more aggressive bc he's a resident & this last time, I ended up with 3 different managers in my face. Skipping the first incident due to lack of room to comment. You can go to their facebook page to see the full review. When pulling into the parking lot, I was signaled by an employee to slow down, which I did & apologized. The speed limit is 5mph. Moments later, this old man stormed into the pool area, screaming at me in front of my young children. Despite my pleas for help, not one employee stepped in. In fact, the woman I was paying, was visibly so uncomfortable, handed me my receipt & backed away. Fortunately, my friends intervened, one getting my children to safety & another friend's husband got out of the pool & stood between me & this man, as my other friend returned & pulled me away to safety as well. Instead of addressing the real issue, I was then confronted by an aggressive staff member (Sybil) who threatened to kick me out when you could visibly see my entire body shaking I was so afraid, followed by 2 more managers (Samantha & Kim) who approached me with hostility, until I explained the situation. Even then, they never once asked if I was okay or even apologized for this man's behavior or the first employee's bad attitude or threats. All they cared about was enforcing the 5mph speed limit outside of their walls. I learned the manager gave residents of the RV park permission to enforce their own version of the rules. This empowered a dysfunctional individual to harass women, & the staff did nothing to stop it. **Warning to Women:** Beware of this place & this man. I've heard that I am not the only one he's targeted. If you are driving over 5mph to the pool, he will hunt you down & attack you to tell you that you were speeding. Management clearly does not prioritize the safety of their guests, especially women & children. This establishment enforces a double standard: the staff & residents can do whatever they please, but guests are treated as nothing more than revenue sources, with no regard for their well-being. UPDATE 1: Initial concern was this man, but now several of the employees have been attacking me on Facebook, having their friends & family members send me friend requests, message me, comment on my review, etc. One person had her mother post a positive review after my incident & me posting my review. No honesty here & just a very toxic environment & if you aren't in their club, don't expect respect. They use this as their own playground. Again, you can go to the facebook page to see all updates & comments. UPDATE 2: Staff member (Samantha) facebooked my father-in-law after she had her mother post a positive review, after I left my negative review. When my father-in-law called them out about their dishonesty, she messaged him saying he had his facts wrong, stating we had her confused her with the bartender. Which we do not. The bartender also named Samantha was actually the only nice employee there and made a good margarita however, she did clarify she heard the altercation going on but because she had customers there was nothing she could do. Priorities? The manager Samantha who messaged my FIL didn't say a word to me & approached me in an aggressive demeanor, arms crossed, not friendly, never apologized or asked if I was okay, & stood there while her manager was in my personal space, worried about the 5mph speed limited, as a witness to her. I continued to apologize & explain how I spoke to a nice gentleman outside in the parking lot & how I was baffled by how I was being ganged up on & yelled at. They ended up walking away kinda laughing it off, smugly saying "ok" as if they were annoyed by me for telling them I apologized multiple times & how I couldn't believe 3 so called managers came up to me & did nothing to that man. UPDATE 3: from DM: "You've made us aware & we have taken action & will take further action as we investigate this. I don't know that it was any of our staff that blocked you from our page. Our response will be the same on Yelp or Google or where ever. We take these issues seriously. Have a good night." After speaking to the DM on the phone, I was please. After this text, I'm not so sure? Not sure who else would have access to THEIR facebook page to block me & my family? The fact we haven't been unblocked is surprising since we've spoken to DM. I gave him a heads up that I would be coming here to Yelp to post a review since I'm blocked on FB & the fact he claims their response will be the same is mind boggling. So I guess I am going to get more attacks for posting here. 8/19 UPDATE: I've been unblocked. Husband & SIL still blocked. 8/24 UPDATE: Blocked again.

It was our first time visiting, and Tina and Karen went above and beyond for us more than once. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The campground is exceptionally clean, and you can tell they've put a lot of thought into every detail. There are so many little touches throughout the property that make your stay more comfortable--things most campgrounds simply don't think of. Those small details really set this place apart. I probably called the office well over 20 times with random questions while we were there, and although I felt a little needy, they never once made me feel like I was bothering them. They were always patient, friendly, and happy to help. This will definitely be our yearly camping spot, and it's the only place I'll stay whenever I visit New Braunfels. I can't recommend it enoug

10/10 -- A Hidden Gem in the Texas Hill Country!…read more We absolutely loved our stay at Outdoorsy! We booked completely last minute--the day before--and stayed in Suite 16. This place truly feels like a hidden gem, and the entire experience was such a vibe. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was amazing from beginning to end. The ladies helped us with our luggage via golf cart and were available from 9am - 7pm to shuttle us back and forth to our cars. All we had to do was text the front desk for a ride. Everyone was incredibly sweet, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed their jobs, which made the experience even better. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and really thoughtfully designed. Having a fridge and microwave was such a nice touch, along with robes in the room and all the little amenities that made it feel more like a boutique stay than traditional "glamping." Our site also had its own fire pit, which really completed the Hill Country vibe. One of our favorite surprises was having a deer feeder right outside our door! We were able to watch deer come right up near our site, which was such a peaceful and memorable part of the experience. Between the deer, longhorns, fire pit, and incredible stars at night, you really felt immersed in the Hill Country. Suite 16 is closer to the main road, so you can clearly hear some highway noise. They thoughtfully provide a white-noise machine, which made it an easy fix. If you're sensitive to road noise, I'd recommend requesting a site farther from the main road. The guest room did get pretty warm around 4 p.m. because the windows face the afternoon sun. Some window tinting or an exterior shade would probably help, but when we mentioned it, the staff immediately offered to bring us an additional large A/C unit. They even offered us a complimentary cocktail for the inconvenience, which was such a nice gesture! Overall, the suite stayed comfortable, and they did an excellent job designing the space with multiple floor vents to keep air flowing throughout. The property gets VERY dark at night! There could possibly be a little more pathway lighting between the tents, but honestly, the low light pollution is also part of the magic--the stars were absolutely incredible. If you're directionally challenged, worried about critters at night, or just don't want to walk in the dark, renting a golf cart for $150 for your stay might be worth it. Feeding the longhorns was another highlight--feed buckets were only $5. The check-in area also had s'mores supplies, firewood, beer, snacks, and drinks, all at surprisingly reasonable prices. It's a great little convenience when you realize you forgot something or want to enjoy s'mores around your fire pit. We also loved the game room! There's a pool table, ping pong, basketball, a massive TV, and plenty of room to hang out. It was especially nice having a cool place to escape the Texas heat and relax for a while. The only thing missing is a pool on property but it sounds like that will be the next addition. Some yurts do have pools but it will definitely be a welcoming addition with the Texas heat! Overall, 10/10 and highly recommend! The few minor inconveniences were handled quickly and graciously by the staff. From watching deer outside our door and feeding the longhorns to sitting around the fire pit and seeing a sky full of stars, the whole property had such a fun, relaxing Hill Country vibe. We're so glad we found this hidden gem and would absolutely stay again!

Then come the surprise fees... * $30 cleaning fee (for an RV pad?!) * $19 damage insurance * $30 for the first day * $10/day "resort" fees None of this was clearly disclosed when booking over the phone. It feels like a classic bait-and-switch and a complete money grab. Bottom line: nice property, but the booking process, hidden fees, and customer service make it not worth the headache.
