My golden retriever named Dobie is the light of my life and my best friend. He's almost 2 years old…read morenow and I love him to pieces he is so well-mannered and well-tempered but even more important just a loveable goofball. He loves his humans so much and is such a cuddle bug. Everyday when I come home from work he runs up to me and sits on my lap. He's a big handsome boy as well, he's always soaking up compliments. When we got him we worried about how he'd treat his old man brother Reggie who is 11 and a small dog. (Worried he'd try to play too rough) But he listened to Reggie's body language and quickly learned that he was to be Gentle with his older brother and adapted a play style of kissing and cuddling Reggie. I love Dobie so much he's a healthy, big, handsome, goofball with a great temperament but also so much personality. When we got Dobie, working with Dylan was also very great. Communication was easy and he was able to answer all of our questions and any concerns. I could tell he cared and loved the pups and wanted them to go to a safe, loving home.

The whole process was more than enjoyable, as we really felt part of the mother's (Sophie's) pregnancy with frequent updates. After that litter of pups was born, they were very communicative to all of the families who were slated to be the future homes for those pups. Once the pups had received their immunizations, we were able to visit them--wonderful! Sue and Roland were more than welcoming, and we really felt like part of their extended "dog family"--you can immediately sense the love of their own animals, and that trickled down to the adorable litter that their dog, Sophie, had delivered. They are very open to questions, and are transparent with information about health, care, etc. We are excited to hopefully get another Golden from them whenever the next litter arrives! My Ragdoll is such a doll; sweet, calm, and with the best temperament. We all love him already! He even likes belly rubs, which is the complete opposite of my other cats. After only one week, he became inseparable from my other cat. He is basically doing his little internship at home and learning everything from the other cats. He purrs all the time! Bettie is also extremely responsive and so kind. I really love her personality and how much she cares about her cats. I hope I can get a second kitten from her before she retires.

It's with a mixed set of emotions to leave a review like this because of the good: we have a…read morewonderful dog who really fit our family perfectly and had no serious issues. However, our experience (we bought a puppy in June 2015) really did leave a lot to be desired. We were impressed with the training Kerry does for puppies, which is pretty unheard of - most breeders don't train puppies very much if at all. This sealed the deal for us to buy from her. The strange logistics of arranging an appointment did not scare us away. We brought home a happy puppy, but the trouble began merely a couple of days later, when our dog was visibly sick. We ended up taking her to the vet-ER shortly thereafter and it turned out she had developed pneumonia and came to us sick per the evaluation of both our vet and the doctors at Tufts. She had to stay overnight and be heavily medicated but she pulled through. In all of this, we spent over $1K+ on medical bills, after paying the high-end breeder price that Cove Angels charges just days before. Meanwhile we were able to get in contact with Kerry only once, at the onset of the situation, where Kerry only wanted to know if the dog's life was in danger - we said it appeared not. Beyond that, and not for a lack of effort (email, phone, voicemails, text), we couldn't any response. We were expecting to discuss these unexpected medical bills from a dog that came to us sick but there was no answer on the side. Reading what other people's experience was below, it does suggest a pattern of issues of some kind, which I'm not intending to suggest involves fraudulent intent in any way - it sounds more like poor execution and/or a lack of knowledge around the things you'd expect from someone people pay thousands of dollars to for 'designer' dogs. What I can say though is that her accountability is a problem and it appears that her warranty is all walk, with no talk - and we didn't have the time and resources to invest in legal avenues to get help in that regard but it really shouldn't require that. In the end, what you pay for in a breeder is a reliable capability to select dogs who have desirable traits and take care of them in the process as well as be responsible for the consequences of those traits being as promised - in this case, this capability appears to be inconsistent at best and the responsibility part is not up to par either. To me, this adds up to 2 stars.
