Lori cancelled the first appointment because of a broken wrist, but when my daughter emailed her for a makeup date, Lori told her that her calendar had "filled up" and she would not be able to do the pictures and recommended another photographer. This is extremely unprofessional of any business person trying to establish themselves as a photographer. I emailed Lori for an explanation and never heard from her. She left my daughter without a photographer which is totally inexcusable. There are many other reputable photographers in the area so I would stear clear of this one.

In the wedding package I got, it included an engagement session, engagement book, both photographers for the entire wedding day pictures (so, getting ready pictures all the way through the reception), and a beautiful wedding album. This was their middle package, but there are many different packages. I've never been more impressed with professional pictures. My husband and I aren't the best picture takers, but Tiffany and Dean made us so at home that we felt completely comfortable and it shows in all of our pictures. They were also very accommodating when I didn't want to leave our venue to do pictures after the wedding and found some great places at our venue to do beautiful pictures. They also help set up a day of wedding schedule to make sure pictures go according to time. In my case, our schedule was way ahead of schedule (I may have a minor case of OCD and stuck completely to the schedule), so they really had some time to take some great pictures of our reception as well. They went around and got a picture of almost every table (which is great to use to remember everyone who came!). Additionally, Tiffany was really great at making everyone feel comfortable especially when we were doing family photos. She was also really great at getting my 2 1/2 year old flower girl to take a few pictures (although, at 2 1/2 she was very stubborn for most of the pictures!). I could go on and on forever about Follow Your Heart Photography, but I think that the best way for you to know how amazing they are would be to use them yourself for your function. I know that I will never use any one else! They also do other pictures as well (I've seen senior portraits, baby pictures, family portraits, etc.). I'm not sure of their pricing for that as I used them for my wedding. However, I feel that those are probably very affordable as well.

We have now paid 5200 dollars 800 to include their travel expenses and the pictures are just "ok"..... As my mother in law has said " you would think for all that money they would have taken some shots of your faces up close!" They took very few portraits of us even though I specifically asked for that to be the main focus of the pictures. The ones they did take are again "ok" but not a single close up. From what I hear Tiffany is a very nice person, I again did not experience this, she yelled at me on my wedding day..... Which has since left a very bad taste in my mouth about their photos and them as a business. Take my experience for what it is, they seem to have a lot of happy customers but my husband and I are not among them.

I knew his photography would fit the general vibe of our engagement shoot and wedding, and we ended up hiring him pretty early on in our wedding planning process. Through all of the ups and downs and changes of planning a wedding in one of the most problematic years possible Chris was responsive, understanding, and flexible anytime my (now) husband and I had literally anything come up! He even was fine with us rescheduling our engagement shoot. (We just weren't feeling up for it after finding out that our sentimental engagement shoot location would not be reopening... ever--boo hoo!) Instead, he and his second photographer, Alli--who also happens to be his wife, met up with us for a cocktail at a local bar to get to know us and our love story. On the day of Chris and his team arrived on-site early and got right into exploring all of the nooks and crannies of the historic mansion and grounds that would set the scene for our wedding. Throughout the day Chris was already prepared with locations, props, and poses for each set of photos--getting ready, bridesmaids, newlyweds, group shots. He put so much thought and concern to create the perfect scene to capture each chapter of our wedding day. All of our "must have" and "special" shots that we had mentioned in the pre-wedding questionnaire were captured throughout the day also. Chris and his team worked well to capture everything and communicated flawlessly while shooting. The final gallery that Chris edited and compiled perfectly retells the story of our wedding day in a way that I can't even put into words. I am forever grateful to have a photographic story that beautifully taps into the emotion and energy of the day so that I can share these memories with all of my friends and family who were unable to attend the wedding. We liked his candid style and his pricing was in line with many of the other people we looked at. After a quick, but friendly & effective, phone call, we decided Chris and his wife, Ali, were the right choice. As mentioned in another review, they did a great job with the timeline and getting the shots we really wanted. There were a few really great shots where they really captured the emotion and expression of our guests & our couple portraits were beautiful. The photos were well edited--natural looking with just the right touch of artistic styling in the color and composition. I really appreciated how easy it was to get in touch with Chris before the day. Chris and Ali were so calm it made the posed shots feel easy. They were also unintrusive during the whole affair, but made sure to check in just enough so they were sure we got what we wanted. One thing I may have asked for, but did not, was a few more detail photos. They captured some photos of the flowers, decor, shoes...but we missed the classic ring photo.

I found Gabriel via Wedding Wire and ended up booking him for our wedding in Reno in January 2017…read more It was a destination wedding so we weren't able to meet face-to-face prior. However, after having a call with him, coordinating via email, and face timing, we were confident in having him shoot for our wedding. It was the absolute worst weather in about a decade, but nonetheless, Gabriel showed up on time with his assistant and got right to work. He took some gorgeous photos and I think it wasn't easy to work with us because our room was so messy from pre-partying the night before, the guys were all over the place and nowhere to be found at times (not their fault, our timeline wasn't accurate) and everyone was so busy working on last-minute wedding stuff. It was a very stressful day due to Atlantis hotel being SO unhelpful - but that's reserved for another review! Let's talk about Gabriel here. He had a creative eye for photos and worked quickly. We got some beautiful shots that took little to no time setting up because of his experience. The only hiccup we had wasn't Gabriel's fault. We didn't take proper photos with each table. I think that was on the DJ to announce it and he never did. Neither did our coordinators or anyone else. I wish we had done so earlier because no one was on that, which is a big part of your photos. However, Gabriel was nice enough to stay back a little bit longer after we begged him to go around and take a photo with each table and he did. We received our photos in a very timely manner. At around 2 weeks, we were able to view them online. At 3 weeks, we received a beautiful flash drive with all 1400+ photos in there. The most important vendor to me was the photographer and trust me, I did my research, pages of it. I looked on every wedding website, through pages of reviews and stumbled upon Gabriel Photography. He didn't have many testimonials but his website displayed some beautiful shots that aligned with the talent I was looking for - picturesque, romantic and dreamy. I was a little suspicious because he was so affordable (wedding photography typically runs upwards of $2k and Gabriel was well below the average cost). I called him up and we hit it off immediately. He was happy to listen to everything I was looking for and interested in knowing more about my fiance and myself to get a better overview of what we desired. Upon request, he allowed me to view additional galleries of weddings he had shot recently. He was also more than happy to meet me (45 minute drive for him) when I booked a trip back to California to tie up the loose ends before the wedding just so we could meet in person and talk! Gabriel is so friendly and willing to make any and all of your photography needs a reality! He really has that eye for beautiful shots that cannot be taught. My wedding ceremony was unplugged (only Gabriel was allowed to take pictures) and he did a fantastic job capturing every single moment! Not only that, he goes above and beyond what is contracted! Not only did he take the EXTRA time (we were contracted for 6 hours) to make sure every shot was captured, he even helped taxi some of the bridesmaids to the venue last minute! The cost of his service includes ALL of the high resolution edited images he takes and an online gallery. We ended up with over 1400 amazing pictures!! The online gallery of images was ready almost immediately after our wedding and the flash drive was in our hands less than a month after! The photos speak for themselves but I am a true advocate for Gabriel Photography!
