Never ever rent from Patti davis ( davis real estate ) lock haven . Honestly if I could give a negative star I would. NEVER AGAIN. Which is going to be hard since they…read morebasically have a monopoly over Lock Haven. We moved into the place we have now, its $900+ for a very small 3 bedroom apartment. Small complaints are the toilets and bathtubs are tiny, I am 5'9 and my boyfriend is 6'2. These are like kindergarten toilets. There is absolutely no storage what so ever, I just had a baby in Feb and I have to drive an hour every time I have to take her old clothes to my parents house. Big Complaints. I was 7 months pregnant when we moved in and literally every month there are issues with things just worn completely out, they didn't check anything prior to us moving in. I was trying to get the dryer hooked up for almost 2 months because the lint tube was completely collapsed and no one came. The first day we were there, we had to put a request in about a clogged sink. We spent a ridiculous amount of money in the winter for heat because we had giant holes on the sides/under the door, when they snow blowed it was snowing in my house. Plus the window I sat next to had a draft so harsh my hair would blow. After 3 attempts to contact and one crappy patch job it was finally fixed at the end of June. I put in about the bathtub clogged 2 times since the day we moved in and have yet to see anyone for that. Recently I called about flies and bugs being awful because I don't do bugs and for having 2 kids, my house is clean. The lady told me "You should be used to bugs, you live in PA" I've lived in PA since I was 9 and I have never had this many bugs in my house. We heard the people upstairs like they were in my room with me. Thankfully my baby is a deep sleeper and noise doesn't bother her, but not only that, if we can hear them, they have to be able to hear us and for the first 3 months of her life she was up every 2-3 hours and that is not fair to them either. Our padlock doesn't work, they told us to change the ($20) battery and it still doesn't work and we have yet to see anyone about that which is AWESOME since we can't lock our door. Our friend also got a place with them and all the fire alarm batteries were completely eroded. When he first moved in there was no heat and about 3 months later he still has no heat which is fine now but, winter is going to be awful. Also maintenance entered his house with no warning multiple times. For being a big local company they treat their tenants and properties like crap and rip them off big time. I will never recommend them to anyone ever, super disappointed and wished we had time to keep looking for an apartment last year because this has been and still is a stress fest. I have heard about them taking peoples deposits for absolutely no reason so I plan on getting a professional cleaner to double check my cleaning when we move out and making it better condition than when we moved in with receipts to see if they still take it.. People don't have 2100 dollars to just blow and its disgusting.

This use to be a decent establishment to live in. Key word being "use to be" This place changes…read moremanagement and staff so many times it is mind blowing. They start by showing you a great looking apartment with affordable rent. Then watch out because once you sign your life away that is when the problems come. Every four to 5 months they will jack the rent up claiming it is for maintenance fees and to maintain the building which is laughable at best but I will come back to that later. Every year guarantee rent increases. They let whomever live here and don't monitor what goes on so in comes the drugs and violence. No security cameras so we have no protection. Buildings similar to this have gone smoke free but you think that will happen anytime soon? Apartments are not allowed washers and dryers so they offer 2 washers and 2 dryers amongst 11 apartments. They never clean them so you always take a gamble when you do laundry. Either you wash them in someone's filth or have to worry about power hungry tenants who will physically throw your laundry on the floor. Now back to the whole rent increases because of maintenance costs and what not. Getting anything fixed is a joke. We have been dealing with a musty smelly HVAC system for three years and their only genius solution was to replace the air filter. Had to buy a mold kit and once finish testing mold started to grow and is now sent to a lab for analysis. I wish I would of known all this before because I would of never moved here. I would give negative stars if possible. AVOID AT ALL COST!!
