David was nice enough to take time to give me advice about Renters right. Super helpful during a stressful time.

We were moving in with our friend who had to travel home for a funeral over the weekend. Our friend had to sign the lease, so the landlord could sign the lease, and then we could send the deposit & 1/2 month's rent for July. Instead of waiting for us in good faith WELL BEFORE OUR JULY 15th MOVE IN DATE, David and Benji (Benjamin on here) decided to stripe our agreement from us and give the lease to another party without warning or discussion. Looking for a house is stressful enough -- if you want disrespectful monsters representing you, then go ahead. Otherwise, RENTERS/LANDLORD & BUYERS/SELLERS beware. 1. No compassion for my friend who's father passed away and had to attend a funeral before signing the lease with my boyfriend and I. 2. Couldn't wait 3 days for money to transfer to my account so I could get a cashiers check that they were insisting on EVEN THOUGH the lease stated electronic transfer was acceptable and I was happy to do that. Breach of contract let alone non-ethical due to requesting money before the landlord signed the agreement. 3. Revoked our signed lease agreement without warning or discussion. I'm reporting them to the BBB, DRE and positing reviews in hopes they will be stopped from hurting people because we're not the only ones as there have been several reviews deleted.

You also refused to cooperate and talk with the police. Your text back to me said your hair was wet, so you couldn't answer the phone. After that, you kept saying you were too busy to tell the police what happened. Why? Why didn't you let me know about the break in? The police said you put my life in danger by not telling me, because I could have shown up there with them still inside my house and/or they could have come back. You also didn't tell me that the keys to the french doors were also stolen on your watch, so I know that when my house was shown, no one was able to go out onto any of the balconies. You didn't bother to make any flyers to let people know about the extra parking, which is important on a tiny cul-de-sac. Most people would leave thinking a house doesn't have parking for visiting friends and family. The stagers also left boxes in my neighbor's driveway. My neighbors can attest to this. They also left boxes in front of my front door. They had been out there for weeks before I came to the house and discovered them. Most realtors would want a clean entryway. You also said you didn't have time to do an open house. I have photos of what the painter you hired did and the paint all over. I have photos of the horrible staging. You can't discount facts Dana. You then said you wanted to list the house below the market price because then you claimed there'd be a bidding war, which there wasn't. It sold for way too little. My dad was 80 something at the time and things got past him but not me. I tried to fire you because I was the one seeing that you weren't putting in the effort other realtors I've worked with have. They all had open houses. My dad is old and lives 6 hours away, so he didn't see what I was seeing firsthand. He didn't see with his own eyes the smashed windows at the front door, the bad painting job, the weird staging job with strange contemporary orange furniture that didn't fit the style of the house. That there were no flyers made for the potential buyers to take with them after to show the park nearby, that it's in a great school district, that there's extra parking, etc. You didn't bother doing this. Yelp is here so people can post about their experiences with businesses and so this is exactly what I'm doing. This was mine and my father's personal experience with you.
