Darryl Scott is a very junior strata manager, comes across as all knowing but has to be corrected on most of his actions or lack of actions. To many issues to mention. Our strata has gone through 7 strata managers with APM all worse then the next. It is unfortunate that our frustrations are with APM, however, I think it is a more systemic problem with Property Managers who do not follow the SPA and managers/owners who do not want to correct or confront the strata manager for fear of loosing an employee. At that point it was just just name recognition and it was not until years later when we decided to move to Kelowna that we reached out to his team for their services. Admittedly, I came into things with a negative bias towards real estate agents, having dealt with some realtors that didn't serve much more than role of tour guide/ key holder/ open house attendant. Not the case here. The team at Vantage consistently delivered valuable insights and their professional advice on how to make a good investment In the market gave us confidence that we were making a well-informed decision. I'd recommend calling them first if you're looking to get a handle on the Local real estate market trends and their insights to make a good investment.

And, Darcy slogged through all the detail of our offer even it meant long hours and late nights. In short, Darcy was there there to help us and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new home.

He found renters with Criminal records, multiple domestic disputes, excessive damage - cats urinating, dogs defecating, dogs chewing through walls, and more. He did not visit the property (as in our contract) because he was "afraid of the dogs". He did not collect any damage deposit - allowed this to be used as rent. I had to place adds, find replacement tenants, hire another agent who helped me to do $10,000.00 in repairs and then help the new tenants move in. Duane kept the finders fee for this. I reached out to Steve Hardy the Managing Broker and was referred back to Duane. Now, 6 mos later, they are still holding $4,973.96 of my rent in an escrow account, and will not hand over the necessary tax forms for me to pay my taxes. I will likely have to hire a lawyer to obtain my money and tax forms. There is a reason this company is not recommended by the BBB. Avoid these slum landlords.
