I came for the arrosticini. I was not disappointed. The arrosticini here are skewed by hand with aged lamb. Each skewer is balanced between meat and fat so that the end result is perfect. Meat cooked through yet each morsel tender. Heaven! Some grilled bread with olive oil, a few grilled vegetables, and fresh green salad along with a carafe of house red were the perfect accompaniments, but I could not resist an order of olives Ascoliano (stuffed with ground pork, breaded and fried) as well as an appetizer of assorted sliced cured meats, all excellent. In my line of sight was a display case full of choice meats waiting to be grilled and devoured. Seeing how they excelled at the arrosticini, I wonder what the other dishes would taste like?
