Most of the staff have minimal english, which adds to the authentic experience but can cause some service problems. They can get pretty busy at times (eg. Friday evening) when the take away orders pile in, but you normally wouldn't wait more than 20 mins to be served a sit-down meal. Bamboo style brass cutlery is a nice touch and chop-sticks are available if you feel the urge to use them (they do have a small selection of malay and chinese on the menu). ps. the dining room is fairly small so booking is normally a good idea.
