This is quite a late post...
Last Tuesday, my super friends and I finally had the chance to have a catch-up dinner. First time for us three to dine in Empire Grill. We weren't sure if reservations were required but we just walked in, luckily there's not much people that night. Not quite sure if there's parking available at the back but we managed to get parking by the streets. I haven't been to a lot of fine dining restaurants, but I think it is to expect that the lighting would be a bit mellow. I'd say it's appropriate to set the mood to relax and just enjoy the night.
So, we decided to try different entrée. We had Crispy Pork Skin(?-can't remember much, just check the photo), Char Grilled Haloumi, and Crispy Fried Tofu. We thought each dish tasted amazing. We tried eating the Haloumi and Tofu together, and to our surprise, it actually tastes better when combined! For the main, we all had the special of the day - Wagyu Beef Steak, which we thought was cooked to perfection! The Goat Cheese Croutons, for us was the second star of the dish. It was divine! The desserts list looked amazing, but we thought we'll try somewhere else for dessert, so we did.
The service was very timely, and the staff were very accommodating. We were thinking of dining here at least once a month to try everything on their menu. It was definitely a great dining experience! read more
