We have had Newland Landscape come out to our house for several different projects over the years…read moreand we have been happy with the outcome each time. Roland was our contractor and he gave us very reasonable estimates and stayed within budget and stuck to the timeline. They did artificial turf in our front yard and added a concrete step pathway to our front door. We were extremely happy with the way it turned out. They also did a waterfall feature in our backyard which did have a few issues, like the motor going out several times. However, every time we reached out to Roland, he followed through and sent his guys to resolve the issue. He stands behind his work, and even when the motor stopped working after a year, he sent one of his guys to buy us a new motor and get it installed without charging us for it. We were absolutely impressed with the way this company takes care of their clients and does not give up until the customer is 100% satisfied. Last month, we contacted Roland asking if he could do a small job for us; we wanted artificial turf installed on the small strip of dirt on the other side of our driveway, and even though the job was super small, Roland agreed to take the job. We had gotten another estimate from someone else and Roland's quote was far more reasonable. He sent his guys and they got the job done in two days. Overall, we are impressed with the quality of work, the very reasonable pricing, and integrity of standing behind their work. While landscaping companies are a dime a dozen, good ones are hard to find. Roland and his team at Newland Landscape are pure gold.

Tony's design won out over a dozen companies, both in terms of creativity and price. The time from design to implementation was very short with our neighbors mentioning numerous times that they couldn't believe how short the time was to get everything completed. It was also a "showcase" yard as it was the home everyone saw when they entered our street with the side yard open to neighborhood and park. Being intrigued by what they could see from the street, several time our neighbors would come by and check out the full yard, or bring people by to show off our yard to others (possible other landscape companies). Unfortunately, the original patio tiles were uneven and poorly graded, causing water drainage issues and damaging the gas line to the fireplace. A plumber who initially inspected the issue considered it major and advised us to stop using the fireplace altogether. We asked Alex at AV Landscaping & Hardscape for a second opinion based on a recommendation from our realtor, and we are so glad we did. Alex proposed a complete, thoughtful solution: replacing the old tiles with new pavers, correcting the pitch, and running a new gas line. He was confident his team could thread the new line without damaging the fireplace mantle, and his quote was very reasonable. From start to finish, Alex and the crew at AV Landscaping & Hardscape were punctual, diligent, and remarkably professional. They completed the entire transformation in under a week. They kept the job site exceptionally clean, communicated clearly at every stage, and were extremely respectful of our neighbors by keeping noise and disruption to a minimum. What impressed us most was the genuine pride Alex and his team take in their craftsmanship. They cared about getting every detail right, not just finishing quickly. The new paver patio looks stunning, the drainage is fixed, and our fireplace is fully operational again. If you need a skilled, honest, and reliable contractor, we recommend AV Landscaping & Hardscape without hesitation!

That recommendation proved to be spot on. Our experience with AV Landscaping was basically perfect from beginning to end. We first met with them about 10 months before the project actually began, and throughout that entire period they were responsive, professional, and easy to work with. They provided the original pricing, worked with us to make some concessions so we could stay within our budget, and then delivered the project within the timeline we were hoping to achieve. Once the project started, the crew was incredible. And most importantly, the finished product is exactly what we wanted. Absolutely not. I wanted something low maintenance, low water, and something that still added curb appeal to our home. After researching a lot of landscaping companies, I finally came across Growscapes OC. Joe came out to give us an estimate, and while I was speaking with him I could tell he had a vision for our redesigned lawn. I relied a lot on his expertise because I wasn't 100% sure what I even wanted. Soon I had a quote (which seemed reasonable enough to me), and a mockup to give us an idea of what the new space could look like. Soon the project began. The crew was courteous and professional. Everything was well communicated. After 5 days our new front yard came to life - from dead grass to desert garden. Immediately we were getting compliments from our neighbors. The house now looks so much more inviting because of Growscapes OC. Thanks Joe and your team!

They took total advantage because we're elderly and know nothing about plants. We just took out the $3000.00 worth of shit They sold us. 1) they sold us tropical even though I said they wouldn't work because our backyard gets too much direct sun and heat. Anthony assured me that didn't matter. All that mattered was water. They ALL died within a few months 2) I was told the drip system they installed could be adjusted for each plant to get more or less water. Not true 3) I explained the dirt they were planting in was old and depleted. I was told the dirt didn't matter. They did not treat the dirt or even fertilize what they planted. 4) the drip system they put in had a control that it has a 300 page online manual. Even their installer didn't know how to set it up and was unable to explain it to me. YET he told me it needed to be updated every 6 months when we changed the batteries. Of course we were not told about this requirement until instalation was completed. As I said earlier we are elderly! I asked for a simpler timer and they said there was no option. 5) they are NOT woman owned and operated. Yes, the scamming husband put the company in his wife's name for tax purposes but she CLEARLY knows nothing about plants or landscaping. When I had them come out to see the dead plants she never spoke. Her husband and Anthony did all the arguing and yelling and put all the blame on us. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism in any service industry. All I asked for, and still feel we are entitled to, is a refund. The dead plants have been removed, the inadequate drip system has been removed, and we are starting over. I was duped by a morally bankrupt company. Don't be fooled by the fake reviews on their web page! They have no place to leave a review on their web page and they aren't here so where did those reviews come from?? THEY ARE SCAMMERS! BE WARNED!
