Make sure you get everything in writing, down to the smallest detail. Property Professionals is not…read morein the habit of honoring any sort of verbal agreement, unless they stand to benefit from it in some way. The honored a verbal agreement allowing me to paint the walls of the apartment I was renting, even though my lease stated it was forbidden. Yet, they DID NOT honor a verbal agreement pertaining to me moving out mid-month. Presumably, because they stood to make more money from me. The property manager ever said to me over the phone that the reason they allowed me to paint was because it added value to the apartment. So, I guess if they didn't like the color I choose I could've easily been charged or forced to paint over before leaving. Since I never had Carmen, the property manager, put those details in writing things could've gone worse. I still DO NOT recommend renting from Property Professionals of Bemidji to anyone.

Blackduck Northwoods is a great place to shop for you home and garden needs. They offer a broad selection of items especially considering the small town location. The staff is on it, ensuring your needs are met and you are fully stocked for your project. James is usually my go to guy in Blackduck - he is awesome - but they all do a fantastic job. Paul on deliveries, fantastic work, good guy. Glad to have a place like this closer to home than what is in Bemidji, saves me some serious time and also - Northwoods delivers for a reasonable price.

After spending a considerable amount of money at their store, we decided to use another vendor for sourcing blinds since they had bid a lower price. This Sterling One manager was upset with us for not using them. It's a small town and we like to spread our business around. What caused the hanging up incident was that a bathroom counter that they installed was damaged on installation and they would only give us a store credit for another counter order. We decided to go with Cambria and Sterling One proceeded to upcharge us $600 more than the competition since we were a captive customer and to recoup their screw up. We balked and Alyssa Erickson hung up the phone on me.(BTW I have an email from Ms. Erickson with a half hearted apology as proof). I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.
