God reeled me back in and I've been attending church here for a bit over a year and I absolutely love it. So glad we got out of this North campus Real Life church and are now attending a beautiful church. Our new church are non judgmental and show genuine love in our Bible study. Love our new church. So disappointed in Real Life North Campus after 6 years. The way they handled a situation was so inappropriate and wrong. No discernment from leadership. No humbleness to hearing what was the truth of what was happening in the service of my hospitality ministry. Totally allowed another member who had anger and control issues and issues with women come in and take over the communion service I was given to serve in. He told me he was in charge and over everything . This person didn't follow protocol or rules, and intentionally went against policies. The leaders/pastors ignored what was done to me and happening. After this person-usurping my position that was given to me by a board member I was thrown out with the trash left with no ministry. As 5-6 people came to me to tell me this person tried to take over their positions in ministry and caused alot of problems. They didn't want to serve in communion with me because of this person being in there. I was told to let the pastors know what was going on and they would be understanding. Hah! But the pastors allowed him to stay in the position and I was left with no where to serve. After meetings with my husband and attacked by the pastors we decided it's time to get away from these toxic people. A tree planted in bad soul causes the tree to not survive and doesn't grow. After 6 years serving. It's taken me 2 years to get back into a church. My husband and me have moved on to a more loving and honest church with great foundations of Gods Word the Bible. Very real people at our new church. Real Life, North Campus , were very exclusive to their clubs of who they accept and love on. We were outcast. If you don't fit in you're pushed out. There was no grace or love towards us. It was all phony. They showed their true colors with us. After we left it was like they were saying, don't let the door hit you on the way out. One phone call, non loving or caring was made out of duty. It's not who my God is and how the Bible speaks of love. I know I'm loved by God and a child of God. They're forgiven, and its in the past, but it's so hard to imagine another Christian church especially pastors could do these things to us. Its taking me time to move on and trust Christians again. I hope more people are aware of churches like this that are not planting you in the right soil so you can grow spiritually. Use discernment and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to the right church. I grew up going to a "mega church" that was "prosperity gospel"-oriented. This church was not like that BUT they do some things for the people and not so much for the one we come to worship. Fog machines during worship and some guy on stage filming the musicians. It seems a bit over the top but the reason I bring it up is because I think I (along with others who may share a similar view) need to get past those judgmental remarks. At the end of the day, Real Life does an amazing job keeping the focus on God. Sermons seem biblical and sound from what I've witnessed. Go to at least two sermons before you make your decision for you and (or) your family. read more

I am an abuse survivor. I went to Real Life Ministires, North Campus, to get help. After hearing part of my story, the pastors told me to go back to my abusers and try one more time. They told me God will work through me to help the family. That Jesus wants us all to come together in peace. My husband and I were in utter shock. I have this to say, "Jesus also flipped the table on the Pharisees and said "Quite selling your wares in God's house." To this day, I suffer from CHRONIC POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER from a family that goes to their church. The family mentally and emotionally abuse me, using scripture and God against my family and I. I will not attend another church like this again. read more

Been coming to this church almost 20 years. Great staff and volunteers. Biblical teachings, you can't argue with God's word. People will always find something they don't like about a church, but THE most important thing for anyone to look for is, do they teach biblical truth, and like it or not, Real Life does. With so many churches to choose from, I can tell you from searching for a church home myself that Real Life Ministries is a safe place to experience a service that teaches from the Bible, the church is welcoming, and there is no pressure to commit. As you can see from people who complain about a church because it doesn't suit their personal needs, choosing a church can be a matter of preference, because there is no "one size fits all". What I can tell from RLM sermons, is they try to stay current with social issues to reach people in need of a message from God through scripture. Their worship team also tries to keep their music current with mainstream Christian music. What makes RLM stand out from other local churches is their community service outreach, because I can't think of another that does more. For starters, they have their own thrift store and food pantry, ran by volunteers, so ALL of the donations and proceeds help people in need. RLM coordinates and provides space for classes, groups, athletic, and recreational activities, bringing together people of all ages in a Christ centered environment. Their pastors have been referred to by local schools and hospitals to minister to people that don't know who else to turn to. They provide class rooms and accommodations for Genesis, a reputable Christian school, and summer programs for students of working parents. Speaking of providing space, if you see their state of the art fields, gymnasium, as well as their huge auditorium, and indoor playground in Post Falls, Idaho, you will begin to see why Real Life Ministries has grown to a mega church with several satellite campuses. I am hard of hearing and desperately trying to learn sign language. This morning I sat up front at the end where the reserved seats for the hearing impaired ended. Soon a woman came over and told me this was her seat. She said she had "been adopted for years". I would like to suggest that next time she either sit where the reserved signs are or move one of the signs to the seat that she is saving so that people are not embarrassed like that. I have sat next to her for 6 weeks now, fortunately not in the seat that she thinks is hers, and she must have known that I was new and she never once introduced herself to me. I would like to suggest that if you sit in the same seat for years, it is your responsibility to make the people around you feel welcome. God bless you. read more

If I were to say one thing about this church it would be, "Eh. It's a church." Mostly Biblical teaching here. Only men preach here, you only hear Bethel songs occasionally. Mostly they sing whatever is on Christian radio . Husband and I attended this church for two years. Messages are surface level at best with 5-6 scriptures highlighted. Very few salvation messages. Pastor Jim will sometimes say "I'm happy when people make a decision for Jesus." That's the most you'll hear. Once they did a series on the Book of Daniel and only covered the first few chapters. Over and over and over. Because they didn't want to talk about the prophecy stuff. This is par for the course for them . They will not delve beyond topical type preaching with a sprinkle of verses, some of which are out of context. There are two to three book studies per year for the congregation which again are surface level. Mediocre worship because Jim doesn't care about it. That's pretty much Real Life. If Jim cares about it, everyone puts a lot of effort in. If he doesn't it's pretty bad. They had David Crowder come do a show once and then the music dude decided he WAS David Crowder (he wasn't). Have brought visitors. They fell asleep. No joke. A big thing about this church you should know is that many longtime attendees believe that this is the church that Jesus would have set up were he on the Earth today. Real life is very into their own policies, procedures, and so on. Membership classes are long and agonizing. The women's ministry also teaches and endorses New Age practices with the excuse that the people there are 'doing their best.' There are many nice and compassionate people who attend there but we chose to leave because there just wasn't enough focus on the Bible or salvation messages. They preached more about their own church then they do about the Bible. read more

If I could give this so called "Christian" church minus stars, i would. A very dedicated, beautiful human being and best friend of minw who is an incredible first time mommy to her beautiful almost 3 year old autistic non-verbal son of whom she has had her son in attendence in their nursury every sunday since he was 3 months old and had completley promised her life to christ, her family and most importantly her beautiful boy. This woman I have had the pleasure of knowing for 7 years and in that 7 years she ive watched her overcome and prevail through incredible circumstances and her continuing dedication to bettering herself and her circumstances for her son all while up against trails and tribulations that have continued to unjustly victimize her and her son through the family court system and force her to co-parent with her abuser of whom, for her son, successfully walked away from. As if this single mother who ive watched go beyond the extra mile for her little boy and get treated like less then human by the courts and our broken system, who offered her no help or support, as a Christian woman myself, when she came through my front door with mascara in what looked like streams of black rivers running down her face, without even a word, I could see the hurt and brokenness of a mothers hope run dry. At first i was confused, why the pain and hopelessness when i know that she had just gone to church t visit her beautiful boy? My heart broke for her, she was distraught. When she could finally speak she told me what she had just exprerianced with the person she trusted with her son and had called family as well as real life secerity and other real life staff, a total of 4 "Chrisitans" who, from the video recording she had of the incident, had just made me want to give up my chrisitan faith as it made me ashamed to be a christian. These church members, instead of lifting up this beautiful, beaten, and broken mother they treated my friend as if she was less then human. I watched with my own eyes as they ganged up on her, humiliated her, shamed her, lied to her and at first for almost 15 minutes made her beg to see her child and refused until she got on her knees and begged, desprerate to hug and hold her son who is also suffering from abuse for which she has been also desperate to get the authorities to intervene to no avail. They followed her and surrounded her as she was trying have quality time with her son for which this trusted woman she signed over temporary power of attorney to, refused to allow her to see her son for over 30 days now. They gaslighted her, discriminated against her and treated her like a criminal because she asked for help with her son while she found a new safe place to live and got the counseling and help that she needed for having to go through every mothers nightmare's of surviving domestic violence and abuse, walked away from it and was distraught and re-traumatized after family court forced her to co-parent with her abuser and father of her son all while having to suffer through the torment of having to watch her son suffer through the same abuse she had just walked away from for her son. They should be ashamed to call themselves Christians. As stated in the Bible with importance that we are to lift up our fellow Christian brothers and sisters instead of judging, shaming and crucifying's those who are down and suffering, it is our job to uplift and and bring them hope and faith, help build them back up through compassion and unconditional love of our Lord and Savior is read more

We've church shopped a lot and this is the first church community my 3 young kids beg me to attend on a weekly basis! The kids ministry is AMAZING. This is a larger church with a huge congregation. They have many services during the week, which is great if you are busy or have a work schedule that prevents you from attending during traditional times. They have lots of home small groups. Sermons are topical. I prefer verse by verse study of the bible. Real life seems a bit theatrical, like they are trying to impress by providing lots of visual and audio sensations. The teaching is spot on if you are a bible-believing Christian. read more

Avoid. Like many churches the Sunday services are designed to stir the emotions of those attending to have an experience. To disconnect people from using their brains and instead follow their feelings. Using music to put people in a euphoric state which dulls the mind from critical thinking. I've heard salvation (or becoming a Christian) described as surrendering to Jesus, making him Lord of your life, or asking him into our heart. All of which are not the gospel that saves us today. The gospel that saves in this dispensation in summary is 1 Cor. 15:1-4. When you hear it, believe it and put your trust in Christs finished work on the cross you are made a member of the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:13). It's that simple. Sadly, I fear there are many at this church who think they are saved but are not. This church also teaches tithing as something you are to follow today which is wrong. This was instituted by God to the nation Israel concerning that which came out of the land (IE agricultural). You are not the nation Israel, nor are you in the land that God promised to them. Jews today do not tithe as there is no temple or Levitical priesthood. These are false teachers and should be avoided. However, there are genuinely nice people that go here so don't confuse what I say as a personal attack on them. It's what's being taught that I'm concerned with and is why I can not go there. read more

Very disappointed in this church. All they want is your money. My son attended summer camp this year and he was super excited and when he got to the location of the camp and settled into his camp there was a kid right off the bat who was bullying him. My son then told the counselor and had a chat with kids and nothing was done. 4th day in the counselor was told again and still the kids were not separated like what should of been done the first time. The bully was also bullying other kids and nothing was done about it. I then get a call at midnight saying come get your son let lone its 3 hours away because my son defended himself from the bully and they fought because the counselors couldn't do their job and protect and keep my son safe. I work full time and so does my husband so getting a call at midnight about what had happened and him not leaving his name nor a number and very unprofessional message made me very upset. He was punched in the nose by this bully and my son defended himself and he was treated so badly by the counselors. My son is kind, and always thinks of others but he did the right thing and what really upsets me is they made him sleep outside by himself like he was the bully. Never again will he go to this church. There was kids getting arrested in the high-school camp for weed, condoms, vapes and other things that should have never gotten into the camps. You call this a holy church? Hypocrites is all they are. Too many kids to handle at these camps and not enough staff. Quit worrying about how much money your going to raise and really concentrate on God and yourselves. read more

This is an incredible church. We are not from the area but have visited this church a number of times. My wife and I have been blessed by each visit. If I lived in the area this would be the church that I chose to be my church home. It has a simple message of grace and hope that glorifies God. Even though we are too far away (Canada) to attend this church I listen to the weekly and archived sermons on my Real Life Ministries APP on my telephone. It is the way I try to start each day.
