Today we had a disgusting experience at Superstore Nanaimo. I had bought few days ago chocolates on sale that day. Usually they have the lemon and strawberry Lindt wrapped chocolates on sale and the other 4 types at the regular price but some days they make sale of all types. This is the day that I usually buy assorted, as I did last Saturday (10/21/2017). However, when I got home I noticed that they had charged me the full price. Today I got time to go to the shop again. My husband and myself explained our issue to the girl at the customer service and showed her the bill. She told us that she was unable to check last days prices but within 15 days, if they have again the sale, I could claim the very day of the sale the refund of the old bill. Nevertheless she asked her supervisor (a woman with black short hair) to check the price at the bench of today, which happened to be the regular price. We had a further chat there since we did not agree with the outcome of our request, and then the supervisor, who had not even had a glance to us, appeared to check some information in the cashier machine at the same desk, and she said without even looking at us that the price of the day I was claiming was the regular price. I said that this was not true, there should be a mistake because I can't be wrong looking at the price tagged in 4 different containers of chocolates! Of course this statement of the supervisor ended the discussion, and we left the shop. Does Superstore respect the statement that the customer is right? My complaint is also about the arrogant attitude of the supervisor who even dared to look at us, or to address to us, even less to apologize at least for our inconvenience and for our time. Is this the way Superstore treat their customers? The difference in price is not high, about 3 dollars, but it is for me a question of principle and our right as customers to have a good service. I also want to say that the girl at the customer service was quite helpful, yet the result of our inquiry was very frustrating for us. We moved recently to Metral Dr. We thought that now we can buy more in this store, however, the bad experience of today makes me reconsider this choice. read more
