I keep asking them to please treat the area along our fence and they haven't. I've asked them to treat our garden bed in the front because it's going nuts with weeds and we live in an area with an HOA. Ive agreed to pay for their add on service for that treatment. I've attempted to set up days and times for an appointment and all of the sudden they are ignoring me and showed up today to treat my neighbors lawn and left ours!!!! The guy Adam no-showed and won't answer messages all of the sudden. Ive asked him to meet with me so I can show him where not to spray and have expressed concern over the fact that our lawn is inexplicably dying in certain areas and asked for no further fertilizer to be added. Let me be clear, we have not asked for anything crazy or been obnoxious in any way. I've asked normal reasonable questions and now all of the sudden they won't respond and def aren't honoring their advertised services. They haven't come out to treat for weeds between services when I've told them about areas they have missed or how much we need the weeds in the front to be sprayed. They're the gnarliest, tallest grass weeds I've ever seen and when I try to pull it myself it comes up in GIANT clumps disturbing the weed mat and gravel in the area. I really need it sprayed so I can just pull dead grass instead of the mutant grass that's destroying everything. The picture below is one I took that happens to show where some of the lawn is dying. There are other giant/worse patches where the grass has died completely. Needless to say I can't stand these people. False advertising and strange behavior. Will be looking for a reputable company to take over.

Had a local competitor do my lawns before Pro Yard Services. The previous company broke a lot of my sprinkler heads with their big mowers and refused to do anything about it. Short review: Final result is pretty but began to breakdown after 2 days. Now two WL weeks after the job is "done" I still have tractor tracks in my grass that weren't fix and a pile of 12' long construction material that is STILL sitting in my front garden. I have also lost the use of 3 full zones of my sprinkler system because they were completely covered even though I marked them and gave Sione a map of the head locations. I will not refer him to family or friends in the future. Sione came out and gave a bid on building two walkways and a patio out of flagstone. He gave us a quote that was below the market average and he had done work for other members of our family recently and the work was well done. After getting the first "gut check" quote from him and being instructed to go pick out a the stone we wanted it took us almost two months to get him back to give a final itemized quote. After multiple calls and texts he finally came back and did the full quote and learning it would only be about 3-4 days of work. After agreeing to the quote it took another full month before works "started". They dropped off a full size front loader/bucket tractor and left it in my side yard for a full week before beginning work. Then they tore everything out in one day, which was great, but then no work for another week and a half. Then another days worth of work where a LOT gone done, but then they disappeared for another week. This went on for 6 weeks until the job was 90% complete. Now I'm stuck at 90% jobs complete three weeks later and it still isn't done. Called him on Monday (two days ago) saying I need all the construction material removed from my front garden that his guys left. He said he was sending a guy right then to pick it up. It's still here. The final major annoyance is that even though I put marker flags on all of my sprinkler heads, three were broken, 5 were removed and the pipes were cut but they couldn't tell me which ones. Supposedly the pipes are capped, but since they couldn't tell me where they were capped I'm afraid my yard is going to flood. Lastly, and the most frustrating, we specifically said no weed barrier, yet it was installed everywhere. And all my flag markers were removed when weed barrier and bark was put down and no holes were cut for my sprinklers. Now I have to start digging around and randomly cutting through the weed barrier to free about 20 sprinkler heads in three of my 8 zones. The constant frustration on never know when his crew was coming back.

I was an HOA president for a small HOA of 13 homes and dealt with Kimball regularly for over ~2.5…read moreyears. I was brand new to the position and I had come into it with Kimball being put on as the property maintenance company so I didn't really know what to look for until I read our contract after about a year in the position. Upon doing so, Kimball was wasn't fulfilling their contract by: 1) not scheduling our irrigation system at all. I'd usually have to remind them to turn it on even. As a result of this, we had to replace about a third of our native grasses, shrubs, and ground cover. 2) they never checked the health of our irrigation lines. Again, they'd just turn our drip system on for the summer and that was it. The contract said they'd inspect it after every lawn mow, which was 1x weekly. As far as I could tell, that rarely, if ever, happened. 3) at first they were doing a great job of a now removal but by the end our ~2.5 year stint, they'd come out to plow our small private driveway about 2 days after a storm, which the snow would generally be melted by then. One time they even backed into our trash & recycling gate, broke it, and I had to call them about it for them to come clean. Only reason I found out was because one of the neighbors caught them in the act. On top of all the contractual troubles occurring during the first two years, I received the third year contract two months after our previous contract had expired and they tried raising our price by $100/mo. the third year. I talked to the project manager about it and we agreed that we should have a buffer year before raising the price. He sent me contract and I sent it back within the month. About 2-3 months later when I noticed I hadn't received a bill, I reached out to Kimball to find out that they had stopped servicing our property because they "did not receive a signed contract on time." This is all to say that from 2.5 years experience with them, I would avoid Kimball (and their parent company Brightview) at all costs. They did not honor their contract and because of this I constantly had to babysit them to honor their contract with us.

Fair prices. Got my sprinklers working in no time. I'm a happy camper. Even sent him a referral.read more
