We loved working with B&B. We had a curb strip that was a horrible mess and just needed that little bit sodded - we knew if we did it ourselves we'd spend more having to redo what we messed up. Good fair price, though still a good chunk of money but we're happy to pay fairly for good service. Other companies we called said they couldn't get to us for weeks and seemed to snub us for the small job - the manager/owner of B&B answered personally right away, treated us with great respect despite our small job (the key of any business!), followed through sending us a quote the next day exactly as they said. Came just days later (after a weekend in between) with super fresh sod, and installed it wonderfully - we didn't even need to be home. Only had to cut out a few holes in it ourselves to get our sprinklers through but they did a great job sizing it the rest of the way. Weeks later we've got the best looking grassy curb strip on the block. Only suggestion would be to have them include some kind of care instructions - we looked it up online somewhere else to make sure we watered it properly but would've been nice to have a little guidance there. I accidentally sent out 2nd quote message to the owner as yelp suggested, without recognizing Ive reached out. The owner politely replied that they are at capacity after 2 mins I requested the quote. I had a good experience with B&B last fall when they came out to winterize my sprinkler system. When I logged in to Yelp! to get their info to have them come out again this year, I noticed there was a deal offered of $30 for a $50 voucher for work done by B&B. Since my sprinkler blowout last year was $50, I jump on this chance to save $20 this year. Unfortunately, that was 12 days ago, and I have called over and over with no answer, left messages multiple times with no callbacks, and also messaged via Yelp! with no luck. Given the temps/weather recently, I finally went with another service to get my sprinklers done. It appears that I am now out $30 since I no longer need their services. If I am able to get my money back, then I will update this review and rating. I know that they could be swamped with work and therefore unable to take my calls, but they could still at least call me back. Bummed out. Hoping they will rectify this situation. read more

I will be contacting them again if I ever have yard care maintenance etc. I was experiencing a leak in a valve that caused my sprinklers to run constantly, they fixed the problem and charged me less than expected. John was very knowledgeable and explained the problem and what the solution was, the service was speedy and they went above my expectations, I would recommend to anyone! read more

The Good: Brett responds to emails fast. Affordable. The Bad: They don't show up. You have to track them down. And then they still don't show up. Had a few bids on yardwork, choose Bret as he showed up, was professional and had a kind demeanor. When they came the first month, his guys didn't even blow the back patio. Had to call them back. Then I noticed that they had clipped some sprinkler wires. He was great, fixed it right away. Then in October and November I had to contact Bret to find out when they were coming. The last two days they were supposed to come and clean my yard but never showed up. I finally emailed him and he said I should look for other people to clean my yard. read more

Couple stars for getting out quickly to aerate my hard. However the depth of the plugs seemed pretty shallow compared to using other companies and they forgot to do the parking strip which resulted in numerous texts to get it finally completed read more

I recently moved into my first home with a host of yard problems. Bret & his team have really turned it around - and with prices that are competitive. Bret is super responsive, and was out to my house the next day after initial contact. I reached out to two other lawn care providers before picking B&B - and chose Bret because of his great personality and people skills. A crew of five people have come to my place twice to weed, lay sod, mow, trim and adjust sprinklers. They really take their time (have spent about an hour and a half each visit), and make sure the job is done right. I like the option to pay my bill through PayPal too. I'd scheduled an appointment with Brett a week in advance, he and his company sounded professional on the phone; however, on the day of service they never showed up and didn't even bother to call and say they wouldn't make it. Later, when I called them, Brett sounded annoyed and said they're "quite busy these days since it's spring", he passingly said they could "probably" come by the following day. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of client's time. There are a million other lawn care services available, I'd strongly urge everyone to consider a different company. read more
