I contracted American Standard Movers to move my daughter and her family (Nataleigh Mechell and Justin Mechell) from Texas City, Texas to Williston ND. They contacted Ready set go movers LLC to perform the move. They were not the only company I contacted. All seemed legit and OK. I paid a percentage when I set up the move to American Standard Movers and percentage when Ready Set Go Movers LLC picked up the shipment and the balance before it was unloaded (seems flaky but that was all the movers I talked to plan). The scheduling with Ready Set Go Movers LLC was a little rough as they said they would be there and were several days late in ND. The problem came when we did an inventory check and were short 60 + boxes. I tried to contact Ready Set Go Movers LLC with no response so I contacted American Standard Movers. After dealing with the sale person for a week I was told "I am a sale person and can't help, call customer service". I called CS at American Standard Movers and they said "We will look into the situation". I started calling and emailing daily with the same response. Finally I talked to a manager (maybe, maybe not) and they said I had to talk to Ready Set Go Movers LLC. After 5 days Ready Set Go Movers LLC found the rest of the shipment in Colorado on 14 Oct. As of 19 Nov there it still sits. They said I have to wait until another truck goes that way, which could be months. My argument is I paid in full and I still do not have my completed delivery. When I tried to work with American Standard Movers they said I needed to contact Ready Set Go Movers LLC. I contracted with American Standard Movers not Ready Set Go Movers LLC and was told today that I signed a contract with Ready Set Go Movers LLC that supersedes the contract with American Standard Movers. This washes their hands from the shipment even though they found Ready Set Go Movers LLC to do the move. What I signed was a very detailed inventory sheet that I did not get a copy of, but I did take pictures of it to sent to my daughter for checking. I have left messages and emails every day to Ready Set Go Movers LLC with no response since almost the beginning of the loss. Timeline: 13 Sept, credit card deposit to American Standard Movers 26 Sept, cashier's check to RSGM (Pickup) 1 Oct, Items still in OK, no truck available 3 Oct, Items left OK 6 Oct, I was told many unloads and loads in different places 9 Oct, delivery to ND, cashier's check to RSGM (before unload) 29 Nov still waiting for the rest of shipment 2 Dec hiring lawyer read more

Ready Set Go movers from Texas are not Dependable. Mail comes to Las Cruces and they don't respond when called Bad moving done for us, Lots of Damage to Furniture and Our Truck due to no proper traing or supervision. Very Sloppy work. read more

It's been over 2 months since I asked for delivery to our new home. They will not reply to texts or calls. If they do they won't tell where our belongings are and they have lied 4 times about delivery dates. We are filing a police report on them. The address on the web site is a lie as well. read more

I looked on the internet for reliable movers. I contacted a company based in Miami, Florida, supposedly the 3rd best based on the internet. I used our $2400 stimulus to initiate the move. The move was set for May 26, 2020. A hauler showed up on that day to load our Jeep. It was the last time we ever saw it. It is somewhere near San Diego. The driver said he needed $750 to drop it in Tucson, our original destination. He got there before us due to the mover screw-ups. I changed the flight 5 times, but we ended up driving mostly in the desert with 107 degree temperature for 6 days instead due to their incompetence. I tried to convince him, to no avail, that we had already paid a $2400 fee and that his money should come out of that. He insisted that his fee was separate and that he would not drop the car off. He called the next day and said he could drop it in Phoenix, where my wife's brother lives. I said that would be great but we could not reach him due to his job, which involves frequent travel. I could not contact the driver for 2 days. He finally called and said the car was now in Riverside, CA, and it would cost $1200 to get the it back. I told him I would never pay him a penny for extortion. That was June 1st and the car is still a mystery. I reported it to the National Department of Transportation who said it would take 9-12 months to get an answer. As far as the move, Ready Set Go showed up May 27th with a 10 x 10 ft. truck, did not show at all on the 28th, and showed up 5 hours late on the 28th. They worked until 2:00 A.M. and wanted to continue, but we were exhausted and needed sleep. They were staying in a nearby hotel, so I asked them to come back in the A.M. the next day to finish. They said they had an "emergency" pickup 60 miles away and could not change it. I tried to negotiate with R.S.G.M. for hours but they refused to compromise. As a result, 80% of our belongings now rests in a warehouse somewhere in Oklahoma City. They later said it would now cost $6000 to bring it to us. I again talked to the N.D.O.T. and added them to the list of thieves and extortionists. Can I put a -10 on the approval rating? (I selected 1 because my review would not post otherwise.) I created a yelp just to review this company. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Lacey is the most unprofessional, inconsiderate customer service rep I've ever had the misfortune of working with. My roommate and I moved across the country and this company lost half of my roommate's things. On top of that, they were a week late with our things so we slept in the floor and shared a pillow for a week. My roommate had lost the most valuable things she ever owned that can never be replaced. Lacey has blocked our numbers, so we are never getting our stuff back. Most would consider this pure theft. This has caused us so much pain and anxiety I can't believe this is the reality. If you care about your belongings and yourself, you will not use this company. Save yourself while you can. read more

I scheduled moving services for 9 am weeks ago. (Almost a month) The morning of the move, I received a phone call from someone at 9:53 am, telling me they need to move my time to 1pm. At 1 pm, no one shows up. I called and the phone call continued to go straight to voice mail. I sent a message to the owner and the owner replies, " One moment, I'm contacting the driver." The owner did not reply, so at 2:45, almost 2 hours later, I sent a message to the owner AGAIN. The owner message is as followed, "The truck on your move blew the gasket we can either reschedule for tomorrow or I can give you a truck after they all return." This message is several hours later and I had to contact them to go do find out the situation. Worst service ever! I lose time and money. Terrible! This company is not reliable. read more

Used this company for only loading my truck. I was to pay $248 for 3 guys for 2 hours. I told them to be at my house at 9:00 am. At 8:58 a.m. I get a text asking if I'm ready for the guys to arrive. At 9:20 when I see the message I reply "yes". 2 guys showed up at 10:45 a.m. and then tried to blame it on the GPS. I called the main office and told them only 2 guys showed up. Their response was I guess the other guy called in sick. You don't know when your employees aren't at work??? I told one guy that I only needed help with the heavy furniture and that is why they were there. I could move the boxes myself. They start loading and I go back out to the truck in a little while and they have loaded all the boxes. I told them again I didn't need them to load the boxes only the heavy items. He proceeded to argue with me about what I told him. When it looked like all the heavy furniture wasn't going to fit on the truck, I questioned them if it would. Once again Darrin proceeded to argue with me about the instructions I had previously given them about loading the boxes. If I would have had any help that day, I would have fired them on the spot!! In the end, I had to rent a U-haul trailer the next day to get all my furniture to my new home. The company did discount me the price for only having 2 guys show up. I scheduled them to come and load a truck for us on 5/4/18 in the process they damaged a bedroom door by badly scratching it, the guys noted it on the receipt and said someone from the office will call me. On Monday being we had returned to Birmingham Al I called to see what was going to be done about it as I would not return until 5/26 so a date was set for 6/2/18 they sent a guy out by the name of Lon and after waiting all day when my appointment was between 10AM and 11AM he showed up a 3 PM with just a can of stain saying he could not repair it, that it was above his level of repair. I called Monday morning 6/4 and Laci said they were working on getting someone out and she would call me back, that never happened. I called Tuesday 6/5 no answer I called from a friends cell phone no answer. On 6/6 Wednesday morning I called Laci answered and said Roberto (I think that's his name) wanted to call me I asked who he was she said her boss I said fine, well that never happened either. I started calling back the same day around 1:30 back to back no answer again from friends cell phone no answer, I went to my friends house and called from there being they have never seen that number before and someone picked up and they said nothing until I disguised my voice and then Laci said movers, I said un ha this is Terry Sims and I know you are avoiding, but before I could get the word out Laci hung the phone up and that was on 6/6 and as of today I have not heard anything from them, so I guess it's safe to say they are not going to fix my door!! If I could leave less than one star I absolutely would! I scheduled a move of some furniture for a Friday morning between 8-9 AM. The movers never showed and when I called and talked to Laci at 8:45 she told me it would be closer to 10 AM before they could get there due to rain. At 9:45 she called me back and said the truck wouldn't start and that we needed to reschedule. We rescheduled for the next morning at 8:00 AM, with her assurance the driver would call 30 minutes prior to coming and would be there at 8:00. I am sitting here now at 9:00 with no movers, no phone calls and they won't even answer their phone to give me the courtesy of another lame excuse. Based on this experience, it is clear to me, this company does not operate with professionalism OR integrity and I would highly recommend steering clear of using them unless you have time to waste and enjoy getting the run around from a company that has no problem making promises and then breaking them. read more
