Dishonest and unprofessional are two words I would use to describe my experience with Ready Ride Motors in Little River, SC. I was interested in buying a 2015 black Fiat Sport listed for $10,888 with 69,000 miles. On 8/17/22, I took it to a mechanic who specializes in European cars for a pre-purchase inspection that included a computer diagnostic report. The mechanic ran the report 3 times and all 3 times a red "System Fault Code" appeared as an active problem with the transmission module. The mechanic said Ready Ride Motors shouldn't be selling this car to anyone without fixing the problem and clearing this code. I went back to Ready Ride and what happened next was unbelievable. I was showing Joe the salesman a printout of the diagnostic report with the transmission code glaring red with the word active in red right next to it. All of a sudden this wanna be guido muscle head, who apparently works there as well, starts jumping around yelling there is nothing wrong with the transmission. He was loud, obnoxious and completely unprofessional. He was like the bouncer for Ready Ride. This chooch was waving his arms yelling that the diagnostic report was incorrect and that it was actually a stored code and not an active one. I pointed to the report and told Choochie that it says "active." He continued yelling that there was nothing wrong with the car. Now this whole time I had my husband on speakerphone to be part of this conversation. While this guy was jumping around yelling, my husband texted a friend who owns a Fiat dealership in NY. So my husband starts telling Joe that his friend just responded that if the code says active then the transmission problem absolutely exists. He also told my husband that these guys are either lying or don't know what they're talking about. So now Choochie starts attacking my husband while Joe is smacking him trying to get him to calm down. It was like 12 year olds fighting on a playground. Choochie was yelling into my phone "So why are you interested in the car if there's something wrong with it?!" Really...I was done with these two the minute that chadrool started flailing his arms like a lunatic. With that I got up said, "there is definitely something wrong with you and I would never buy anything from this dealership." Choochie opened the door like he was kicking me out...lol. If after reading this review...you...for some reason still want to take a chance with these dishonest, unstable, unprofessional, childlike losers, be sure to get a pre-purchase inspection that includes a computerized diagnostic report by a mechanic who is familiar with the car make and model. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business. read more
