I used this company to help file my ERC. This was a huge mistake. They are harassing me weekly for a payment of $15,000 for this service, any I haven't even received by ERC money yet due to back taxes. I have told them this and showed them statements to prove I have received no money. They do not care. I have been offering to make a payment plan with them since December 2024 for $1,000 per month. They refused and said they do not except payment plans. They reached out to me today to offer a payment plan of $5,000 per month which I can't afford and they refuse to work with me or help me. I am on the verge of getting an attorney. If they had accepted my offer in December, they would have been almost paid off by now. Run from this company. This company submitted a loan proposal for much more than we requested per the project's pro forma and financials provided. When we pointed this out ahead of providing all of the docs and requirements, we were told it would be fixed before underwriting. We paid the deposit and continued to provide everything requested, then were denied the loan as they never changed the funding request completely wasting our time, and money, and setting our project back while we look for a more reputable lender. We aren't experts in the loan process by any means, but we've been through the commercial lending process prior to this, and we found this company to be subpar at best through the process. I called the 855 829 5025 Ready Capital lending number. I told service that I am looking to acquire a business. I started to ask her questions about their loan products. They are ONLY offering 7a loans right now. I wanted to ask more questions (shopping around). To see is Ready Cap a good fit. Representative cut me short, and said I need to fill out an application before I can talk to a loan specialist to get my questions answered. Before we could even submit one (1) piece of paperwork, they declined the application - because they didn't have the information?? We adjusted our SBA information, and Ready Capital was listed first again. And automatically declined, based off not having the paperwork needed! You can't make this stuff up!! So, I called and was told the SBA-listed POC Justin Levy was not taking calls because; he's the CEO. The young lady who did answer the number listed or Justin, May, also would not provide her Employee ID after she just repeated her script 4x, nor give me a higher level person to help. Applied for the ERC with Crystal as my rep, received estimate, provided all required docs and heard nothing back for almost 2 months. Upon email follow-up I was then advised they didn't find me eligible. They refused to even convey why. Very unprofessional. read more

I have worked with ReadyCap for years now and often send my clients over to them to get deals funded that most other banks simply can not fund. The people I've worked with at ReadyCap are responsive, friendly, and can get things done - that's all you can really ask for in a good bank. Also, when it comes to reading reviews on banks, be aware that many banks will be reviewed based on things out of the bank's control (usually whether the business loaned on made the borrower "rich and famous," or bankrupt). Banks shouldn't be your sole source of due diligence and/or valuation, and if loans default (which happens for every bank), that's not ReadyCap's fault. Business ownership has massive inherent market and/or management risks. Also remember that SBA loans, and many of the loan programs available, are backed by the government which is inherently slow and often have timelines out of control for many banks. So make sure to think ahead to plan for unavoidable delays and contingencies. The banking system in America may not be lightning fast or perfect, but ReadyCap can get things done in that system whereas many other banks will often over-promise and under deliver. read more

My family waited and waited on funding for days at a time, and they kept telling me it was funded, and no funding came. Then my loan was cancelled, and we were not given the 100,000 we were promised. Been with ReadyCap for a long time they are actually formerly CIT which went bellyup because of the recession.. They overvalued our business in 2007 when we bought it, loaned us money and we are still upside down fighting our way out of it. Then CIT went out of business and ReadyCap took over- same employees. We also went through the recession and other downturns over the years and ReadyCap would only offer a deferment if we allowed them to encumber our primary residence along with the business and the real estate they already had and our personal guarantee. We did not agree and they offered no relief. Fast forward to 2019 and we are stuck with a ridiculous amount of late fees and when mailing our monthly payment it can take 10 days for them to process (and we send payment to a special handler- I'm convinced our check sits on a desk adding interest and late fees). Most recently, I paid a little extra and they immediately applied it to late fees and I had to argue with them to apply it to principle. Reluctantly they agreed. They are a second rate company that is big and bullies small businesses- I understand small businesses need lenders but this company is shrewd and I would like to refinance with another lender.
