My son's tutor, Tom, is great. He goes through all the steps very clearly, and basically goes through a "trial and error" process until my son understands the material. Kudos to you, Tom! I would recommend this company over Sylvan any day. This company is not cheap, but success/education/knowledge is not cheap.

Julie is always very responsive to us. She goes above and beyond, making herself available if he ever needs help in a pinch outside of their tutoring sessions. One of the best things we've experienced so far is the increased confidence in both our kids. My kids look forward to attending their twice weekly sessions and enjoy the perks of spending their earned "points" in exchange for some goodies/prizes made available to them as an additional incentive. Sylvan provides a friendly environment and Nancy makes herself available at anytime (day or night) in the event of any questions/concerns. It's easy to tell she loves what she does and even knows all the kids by name, which as a parent makes me feel like they are being acknowledged for who they are and are being seen as just a number. The environment is welcoming, the tutor to student ratio is appropriate, and my kids love that they can pick a snack during their session break time to rest their brains and refuel. Progress reports are given after a certain amount of hours in each subject where their growth is measured and can be reviewed. We are so pleased with our experience thus far! Honestly, my only regret is not starting them at Sylvan sooner in the school year.
