A cool fact, the building where he works is where he grew up in because his dad owned a furniture shop in the attached portion. I thought his prices were fair and he did a good job repairing my couch cushion. He does not do couches anymore because it's too heavy for him to lift and negotiate. But he does do chairs, cushions etc. Again, just call and leave a message and he'll call you back whenever he's in the office. He's cash or check only, FYI.

When I got there she…read moreshowed me the fabric ( some rolls were not for sale as she was still using them) and said she was not selling business just retiring. So I decided on a roll of fabric and offered $20 she said $50. I estimated the amount to be 5 yards, she said there was at least 8 yards. So I agreed to her price and asked if I could use card to pay. She said she did not take cards. (sites on google said she accepts cards) I really liked the fabric for the bags I make, So I drove to the bank and back with cash. I measured fabric immediately when I got home and there was only 5 and a half yards. I think she was very unfair untruthful and hard to deal with.

They came to the house and assessed both pieces and worked with me on a convenient time for them to come pick them up. There was a dresser with two broken legs and a cedar chest with a broken leg. The dresser had other damage underneath as well. They completed the repairs and returned the items in about a week. I couldn't be happier with the service and care they took with my furniture. The price was reasonable, especially considering we would have had to replace the dresser if we couldn't have it repaired.

We found Fibrenew on a Google search with great ratings so we used their website submittal form and…read moresent in photos of our two couches highlighting the repairs needed. Sy responded via email and scheduled an in-person visit in order to give a more accurate estimate of the cost for the repairs. After his visit, he emailed us a formal estimate to include repairing some holes and surface damage along with redying the seat cushions that were worn. The price seemed a bit more than we were anticipating but less than the cost of new couches. Sy indicated it would be 3-4 hours to complete the work. Upon scheduling the repair, he arrived and got right to work. The patching was done first, then surface repair and sanding followed by the final dying. It seemed to take a bit longer than first estimated, but once it was completed, the color match was very close. We were instructed to stay off the couches for about 3 days to allow the repair and dyed areas to cure and stabilize. The texture of the leather is different from the original feel of the other areas that weren't repaired, but it seems durable and definitely better than when it was worn and torn. We are happy with the work and would use Sy's service again if the need arose. It should be noted that the photos attached to this review are for two separate couches with two "before" and two "after" photos (one before photo is mislabeled as after)
