I expressed that I wouldn't feel comfortable with her because of her inability to communicate with me in a timely manner and her communication was lacking in professionalism. Her response was that I was not her client and therefore she didn't feel the need to get back to me as quickly. I was very confused by this, as I would never commit to a photo shoot with a photographer who isn't able to respond to me in a timely manner. This was family photo shoot that many of us were traveling to the Dallas area for. Our dates weren't flexible and it was important to me to find someone who could ensure that it would be a smooth process. All in all I felt Lucy was unable to provide time with the level of service I expect. Furthermore, after ending our conversation, she continued to harass me through text message until I asked her to stop. If you are planning to book a photographer please look elsewhere! I am not sure if this if her normal work ethic, if I had done something to offend her, or if she was having a bad week. Regardless of the reason, her attitude was very off putting and her professionalism was lacking.

Todd is an exceptional agent…read more I've lived in several major metropolitan areas in the U.S. throughout my life, and service in Dallas has been more hit and miss than in any other major city I've ever lived in. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe it's just super hot in Dallas and people just can't be bothered to work all that hard. Maybe it's because people here just earn less on average and so they don't have the financial incentive to put in as much work. Whatever the reason is, I've honestly found it quite difficult to find high-quality professionals here who take pride in their work. Todd is one of the few I've worked with in my 5+ years of living in this city who really stand out. He's just an all-around consummate professional. Todd has an incredible depth of industry knowledge and general housing experience that he draws from that he used to guide my wife and I throughout our first home purchase at the beginning of September. And in the rare instance that he didn't know something, he always took the time to research it and follow-up as soon as he could. But even more important for me was Todd's humility and integrity. While real-estate agents are often seen as simple salespeople, Todd never came a cross as salesy whatsoever. He would always try to remain impartial, objective, and honest, even if that meant compromising his own bottom line. I could see Todd's integrity a mile away, which is why I felt comfortable trusting him with a transaction of this size. While I don't know for certain, I think I'm pretty safe in guessing that Todd is quite well off. He's not desperate for business and he does a significant volume of large transactions annually. This is extremely important when considering a real estate agent because the more desperate they are, the more likely they'll do whatever it takes to close a deal, even at your expense. At the same time, you don't want to work with an agent who is too absorbed in their own success that they can't bother to spend any time with you. Todd is truly that rare mix of humility, integrity, experience, and detail orientation that makes for the perfect real estate agent. This year my wife and I were finally ready to buy our first home. We were both really nervous and…read moreintimidated by the process and unsure of where to begin. One of my friends had recently had a great home buying experience and referred me to his realtor Holly Scott. From the initial phone call, she put both of us at ease. She asked a lot of background questions to get a feel for what we were looking for. She then put me in contact with the mortgage lender that she works with to get preapproved and set our budget. This was a fantastic experience as well. The two of them work extremely well together and were able to get everything in order with very few hang ups. The shopping process had its challenges, but Holly was a lifesaver. She was able to use her expertise to narrow down a lot of our searches. We saw a lot of houses and she was always able to point out things (positive and negative) that my wife and I would not have thought about. We made a couple of offers that did not end up being accepted, and as frustrating as this was Holly kept us positive and we just kept searching. In the end we found the home that we loved more than any of the ones we had previously offered on. Holly helped us coordinate everything between the offer and the closing. She recommended a fantastic home inspector and did a great job helping us understand the inspection results. She helped us determine which issues we wanted to address and got quite a few great concessions from the seller including a carpet allowance and money at closing to help with minor repairs. Holly was also instrumental in coordinating with the listing agent so that we could get access to the house for a carpet estimate so that we could have the new carpet installed on closing day so we could move in immediately. We've been in the new house for two weeks and couldn't be happier or more excited. The process was extremely stressful and at times terrifying, but any time we felt overwhelmed Holly always got us back on track. We are extremely thankful for everything Holly did every step of the way, and would very highly recommend her to anyone we know who is looking for a smooth and easy home buying experience!!
