Purchased a car, understanding it was as is spent pretty much the day there. Had an engine light…read morewhich I had asked them to diagnose at the time of purchase, stated it was likely an old code and cleared the code from the car. Also had a battery light I had them check as well prior to makingnthe purchase, battery was replaced. Test drove the car again to verify nothing came back on. Came back clear spoke to the sales rep regarding a warranty they were offering. Told it was good peace of mind to purchase it and that he had one as well on his car. I decided to purchase thr Warranty after he explained the so called benifits NVP is the company's name. I paid cash for the Warranty so in the event I decided to cancel it that it was separate from the loan. 3 days later light came back on, took it to a mechanic, turns out it was the wastegate solinoid. Repair was over $600. Called the warranty, pretty much wouldn't cover anything. I went to cancel the warranty for a refund so I had cash in hand for any additional repairs. Its been 8 days since receiving my cancellation confirmation. I was just told by the dealership that the refund, still haven't recieved, will be provided to the lean holder which was entirely separate from my purchase of the warranty considering I paid out of pocket for it, also not disclosed at the time of purchase. I could have put zero down on the loan if i so chose. I was just told that it was "implied" that the refund would go back to the lean holder if I canceled the warranty, it was not. If I was told that I would have simply financed the warranty with the loan, which I could have done. My recommendation, there are plenty of dealerships out there selling used cars, find a different one that does a better job. The car itself minus the out of pocket repairs is fine to be clear, its the dealership I take issue with. They purchase most of their vehicles from auction so its a mixed bag what you are going to get and if there is an issue, dont expect them to actually diagnose the issue prior to purchase and will likely just clear the codes and roll the dice it dowsnt come back before you sign the papers. Your better off going somewhere else

After meeting the owner Rob to look at purchasing a motor home from his dealership. I explained I…read morewould be buying this for a trip to Florida thanksgiving 2016. Rob assured me there is no water leaks, and the RV is in good working condition. He did warn me the generator was not working, I simply said I could bring a generator and have it looked at later if that was the only issue then I would buy the motor home. We then had a mutual mechanic get the RV to his shop in town, where he was going to change the fluids and look it over for the trip. The mechanic shop had 2 guys on this thing full time for 2 days straight. We planned to leave at 6pm Friday evening and the mechanic was not able to get it ready till nearly 12pm. He said there is electrical problem, I got you running but it's your call. We had 10 of us (including 2 newborn babies) planning to leave, sitting in the RV. I will just simply list some of the issues we ran into, as I do not know all of the issues as I have not been able to see most of the coach work at all because of the wiring issues going on. Above the windshield there is a black electrical smoke coming out the has discolored the ceiling in the front. -electrical burning smell coming from the front -no heat in the vehicle -no ability to keep windows from fogging up or defrost option -The windshield leaks through the crack in the glass and all along the perimeter, the seal is missing in a few spots as well. -passenger mirror is nonfunctional the mirror folds in after about 40 mph -The tires are 18 years old approximately -The power inverter is not functioning properly -there is an intermittent starting issue -The back cover with the license plate flew off within our first 200 miles somewhere along the way -Side marker lights quit working -stranded on the side of a mountain Indiana / Kentucky border with a flat tire $650 -2 new steer tires $800 -leaks exhaust into the back room -battery cover flew off -The driver side exterior wall has water damage -major oil leak We are very thankful that we made it home safely!
