I wanted to take a moment and thank you and your team. Your responsiveness was swift, your professionalism on-point and solution offered (and performed) was completed as promised. Not only that, but the very next morning. Outstanding customer service in my book...and I coach customer service as a part of my role. Sean is a great representative for RDS! You took the time to talk with me and make sure I was educated while also affirmed in my thinking. Appreciate the advice and recommendations as well. I assure you they are in my back pocket. I have been a RDS customer for eight years since we built, have always been pleased, and recommended you to others often. I will continue to do so and even more so with an even better story of your great customer service. Absolutely certain that I wouldn't have the lawn I have without y'all! read more

I have been using RDS for fertilization, weed control and aeration for a little over a year now and my lawn is much improved. It was patchy and weeds were starting to get out of control. I am now seeing a much greener lawn and the weeds are getting less and less over time. I like that when they aerate, they will come back after a few weeks to see if there are areas that did not quite take, and they will reseed those. They always come when they say they will, and all the employees are super nice. Prices are reasonable in my opinion and in line with other companies. I am very happy with the results and look forward to the lawns looking better year over year. read more

I have been using RDS for several years. They completely transformed my lawn from patchy mixed grass to beautiful thick green fescue. The team is always very courteous and respectful. I even got 4 neighbors to sign up with them, and their lawns look great as well. I definitely recommend them! read more

So far, so good. Great customer service and follow up. No issues and look forward to our lawn getting back into shape.

Great service, product and results! Our yard has been transformed since we purchased this contract with RDS! Our yard is one of the best in the neighborhood thanks to them!!! Highly recommend for anyone who values a healthy green lawn read more

I don't leave many reviews, but I have to share a recent experience with RDS. First of all, these guys do great work. They have done a great job of restoring my lawn. The previous owner of our home did not maintain it and it needed professional help. We have been very pleased with their communication, professionalism, service, and dependability. The reason for this review is to highlight how seriously they are committed to customer service. I was hosting Thanksgiving for my family and wanted a quick mow to clean up the yard. With all of the rain in the past few weeks, I knew they were behind and did not expect to see the crew. I called on Wednesday and was told they might make it as they were working nearby. Unfortunately, they ran out of time and did not make it. At 5:00 on Wednesday, I called to find out why. I wasn't rude or anything, but I let them know I was disappointed and that we were hosting Thanksgiving for the whole family. They were very apologetic and promised to get to me on Friday. At the time, I was putting down mulch in the yard. You can imagine how surprised I was when two trucks from RDS showed up about an hour later. They told me that customer service is very important to them and them at they heard I was disappointed. They proceeded to edge, trim, and mow my yard...practically in the dark! It was so dark by the time they finished my family and I were holding up flashlights and work lights so they could see. I was most impressed by the attitudes of the team. Even though they had probably been working for 12 hours already, they were still full of smiles and friendly. They even apologized for not making it earlier and showed no signs of being frustrated for having to work late or in the dark. This was our first Thanksgiving in our new home and RDS helped make it special. The yard looked great and we got lots of comments on it from our visiting family. Customer service is not dead! RDS went above and beyond for us and they have a customer for life! read more

Absolutely pleased with these guys. They email the day before treating the lawn and always let me know what is being done. We had them aerate our lawn this fall too. They returned about three weeks later and put down some more grass seed in spots that were still a little bare. Techs are always happy to answer any questions I have and offer advice to help my lawn look it's best. I recommend RDS for anyone looking to maintain a nice lawn. read more

When I moved to Charlotte years ago I was looking for a personalized approach to all things landscaping related. RDS Lawn Care proved to be a great decision! Aaron and his team provide a very customer centric approach and understand the meaning of customer service. The RDS team provided everything from lawn treatments to landscape consulting to lawn maintenance and yard upkeep. I would highly recommend them to anyone that can utilize their services in the greater Charlotte area - you won't be disappointed! All the best to the RDS team - keep up the great work! read more

So much for a guarantee. I moved to Charlotte late March and signed up for mowing and chemicals. The lawn had some weeds but didn't look bad. I took a trip in August and came back to find LARGE dead patches in both the front and back lawn. RDS came over and explained that grass had to be killed because of weeds and that the lawn would be repaired when the lawn was aerated and overseeded. I've had numerous neighbors ask what happened to our lawn. When I called to find out about the schedule for aeration I was told we never signed up for that service! So in other words they killed a large part of our lawn and offered to repair it if I signed up for more services. Where is that guarantee?? Let's not talk about the money we already spent for chemicals and fertilization. Wish I could post pics - you would never use this service. read more

I would never use this company. They never come on the same day and have no problem telling you that you are not as important if you are a bi weekly cut customer. They also destroyed the siding in several places on our house and tried to tell me it was already like that when they started cutting the yard at the beginning of the summer. We had to fire them back in 2012 before I knew what Yelp was. Save the headache and just cut the grass yourself. All landscape companies are the same... irresponsible, read more

Having owned a small lawn maintenance business and studied proper care of lawns, I became frustrated with my own lawn! I was having fungus problems as well as other issues that by summer's end looked like I had done nothing to maintain my lawn and found myself starting over each fall. I have known Aaron and his family for years as honest, hard-working folks. RDS was establishing a great reputation in our community, so I decided to give him a call and see if he could determine what was wrong with my lawn. One phone call and he was out there that afternoon to look over my situation. Within minutes he had diagnosed a huge part of my problem....over fertilization...yep...too much of a good thing! At no charge he gave me all the advice I needed to help my yard recover. I asked him to give me a price on taking over my lawn maintenance (I still do the mowing). Within 5 minutes he had crunched the numbers and showed me my annual cost. I knew how much I was spending doing it myself and was amazed at how reasonable he was. I am now going on my 5th year and have a beautiful weed free lawn that is green year around. I receive timely emails from RDS advising me of things I should do, especially how and when to water my lawn. While others enjoyed a crunchy brown lawn this year, my lawn remained beautiful with minimal watering. The seed he uses is superior to anything I have found on the market. His staff is always courteous and respectful of my property and folks who may be around. RDS is NOT a spray and go company. Aaron continues to educate himself and his staff on the best lawn establishment and maintenance programs including annual seminars at NC State University. If you want a more than a lawn service that sprays your yard a few times, plugs and throws out some seeds in the fall....look no further. RDS treats my lawn like it is their own...and they will do the same for you! They absolutely stand behind their work. All we have to do is follow their advice on watering and how to mow. If mowing is not your thing, they do this as well. read more

RDS Lawns - A well maintained lawn = Happy Grandchildren! - Lawn Services Near Me - Mount Holly, North Carolina

We've used RDS for about 5 years and have given them many referrals in Fort Mill and Charlotte. Sadly, their service has taken a nose-dive and we're shopping for a new service. All last year our lawn was full of weeds even though we paid hundreds of dollars for fertilization and weed control. I had to contact them about every two weeks because they missed mowing spots, didn't blow off areas, didn't treat weeds, etc. It became a real annoyance to try to get them to do what they said they'd do. They'd also said that they would use a hand mower. They're using a big commercial mower on our small lawn. I think they have more business than they need, and don't care if they lose customers in the Fort Mill area. read more

RDS Lawn Care are great at making sure our lawn is taken care of. They come by my house once a month and do what needs to be done to keep my grass green and in the best of health. I would highly recommend them. read more

Great service and our yard looks great! We receive compliments all the time on how good the yard looks. I would highly recommend RDS!

This business is amazing! Our yard was a dirt pit. We contacted RDS. The guy talked with my husband for over an hour. He was honest- our yard is a work in progress- but after just two months we have grass! It's green! The weeds are going away! Yes, it will not be perfect til next spring but we knew that. The improvement is beyond belief! We aren't embarrassed anymore. And when we desperately called to get our bushes trimmed, they could help. Give these guys a try! read more

I have been using RDS Lawn Care for several years now and wouldn't use anyone else. They brought my lawn back to life after several years of neglect and it hasn't looked better than it does now. Keep up the great work!!!!! read more

I highly recommend RDS Lawn Service. They are reliable, take the time to do the job right and the lawn looks great. My husband really appreciates that Brandon takes the time to answer his questions. At first I thought the prices were a little high compared to some of the other lawn services but they really aren't because they truly take care of the yard - not just doing one thing and leaving even if more is required. read more

Great customer service across the board and worth the money spent! I had aeration/over-seeding done and they even come back after 30 days and re-apply seed where there is little growth. read more

I used RDS Lawn Care Services for more than a year now, I got to say their services is second to none. Before using RDS my lawn started out like crap and at first, I am a little skeptical about whether their package services could help, the customer service is very patient regarding any questions that I have and they always help me and give me suggestions to better improve my lawn. I had a contract with Scott Lawn Care before but I think RDS did a much better job with less $$$. Their aeration and reseeding services are also great, with proper watering schedule (which RDS also shows me how to do it), my fescue backyard is looking really great and I'm very satisfied. One downside I could think of and they could improve on might be sending us text messages regarding the service schedule, they did send out the schedule via email but sometimes they got filtered as junk/spam messages. Other than that, I think RDS is the #1 choice for anyone if you live in NC/SC area. read more

We have been using RDS Lawn Care for around a year now and I think they could really get the job done. They turned my lawn around both the front yard and the back, their weed control services is effective and the fertilization really helps my lawn look green and healthy. One suggestion I do recommend, if I could see my service schedule on an mobile app that would be great, it's convenient to send out service requests or concerns (with pictures) via the app, or even keep track of the watering schedule or something like that. read more
