Now, I abuse those feet keeping time to music, attempting to get chosen for Dancing with the Stars. Hence the need for comfortable dance shoes. Well, I got lucky and did not have to travel to Michigan because this company brought their entire inventory of shoes to Chicago for a dance competition. They carry a wide range of manufacturers so trying on those shoes is a necessity because they are all cut, shaped differently. I found the saleswomen to be most accommodating and they spend a great deal of time finding just the right shoe. Shoes can even be special ordered in 2 different sizes, if that be required. True, dance shoes tend to be pricey, with special straps, special buckles, different heel heights (for different dances), and special soles. I know, too much info. When told the cost, I once overheard a man ask if he couldn't just wear bowling shoes ~ knock 'em dead Fred. Since I have been challenged to a Tango showdown by some young whippersnapper next week-end, I need to be prepared. I purchased 3 new pair, no excuses. DANCE ON.
