I love…read morethrifting, and I especially love supporting second-hand stores that support smaller charitable organizations. But when I went to this location I was completely ignored. Normally, if a store is really busy or recognizes me at least before I leave the store, I don't let it bother me. But when I'm one of a few people in the store, there's an abundance of staff, and I'm in the store unrecognized for a long time- I start to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The pricing is a bit high for it being used furniture and decorations. You can find some cool vintage furniture pieces, if that's your thing. I also like that the employees never hound you and let you freely browse. They also usually have different discount specials that are posted in the front entrance.

I found some children's books for .50 each. Toys are sold according to weight (???) Tons of DVDs, household items, clothing, etc. The main thing I didn't like was the attitude of one of the workers. I found a dresser that I was interested in but it didn't have a price sticker. So I asked one of the workers and he rattled off $69.99 without even looking at the one I wanted. Then we walked over there and he was like, "You wanted this little one, right? It's $69.99." I'm sorry but $70 for a USED dresser with scratches and whatnot seems HIGH (Better than Salvation Army's $200 ones but still, $70 is high). Regardless, his attitude just seemed so arrogant. So when we were in the market for a dresser for our child's room, I stopped in. I could not even believe how much they were... think $200-300 for a USED, DINGED UP, SCRATCHED, (missing hardware in some instances). Occasionally there was a "50% off" tag on items but they still ended up being like $150. For this cost, I will be going to Homegoods and buying a NEW dresser. The only thing I could think of is that many people like to buy cheap furniture and paint it and sell it for $$$ and this would discourage that... but it also would discourage low income families to purchase furniture. But... on my way out, I checked out the clothing prices and these were just as insane. $8.99 for USED shirts. One was literally a plain Gildan T-shirt with an "S" ironed on it... $9. WHAT IN THE WHAT?? The pricing is CRAZY. Don't low income families shop at thrift stores? How can they afford it here?!?! I will NOT be back. Isn't this place running off DONATIONS. It seems criminal to be selling items they got for free for so much.
